Thank god for Crystal Palace's win over Chelsea on the weekend. With our game against them now less than 2 weeks away we were practically a shoe in to hand them their 1st win of the season. We can now go to Selhurst Park safe in the knowledge that we won't be handing them that honour. So a big thankyou to Chelsea and we can now look to go there in some positive frame of mind and hopefully get some points.

our record at palace like at burnley is very good so i am not overly worried about the game more worried that after his one match ban bilic will put carroll straight back in regardless of who does what against brighton on friday night.

But for some reasons regardless of the passage of time and different eras some teams always do well against others no matter if its a cup game and they have not met for years or a league game....hence the book "an irational hatred of luton" they always seem to beat us no matter how bad they were doing...just one of those things
