For me we have to offload the following at the end of the season:
Nolan, Cole, O'Brien, Jarvis, Maiga, Jussi

Coming In?:
Hernandez (rumoured but can't see it), Ings, Schmeichel, Guzan, Caulker, Benteke (can't see it), Mirallas, Song (good start/poor finish but I would sign him)

The above includes rumours and personal preferences but I would also like to see the use of Reece Oxford as we have to start playing him if he is as good as everyone says. In addition I would like to see Elliot Lee be given a chance as I don't see the point of him being at our club given the selections that have been made over the past couple of years.

So this is quick list but who would you offload and on-board?

If Sunderland really offered 5 Mill for Downing we should have bitten their hands off. He's not worth that. Nolan will probably go and Cole, Jussi and Nene are gone so quite a load off already. Get shot of Zarate, he is trouble just like he's been at most of his clubs and we might as well see Maiga off as well. I'd actually keep Jarvis but give him his preferred place on the right. Get shot of Valencia if we can get anywhere near what we stupidly shelled out for him, because in my opinion he is never going to cut it in the Premiership. Either of Demel or O'Brian need to go, probably Demel, but we need to keep at least one of them as a squad player.
Ins, we need a right back, a goalscoring midfielder and a PROVEN striker. Jury is out for me on whether Charlie Austin is that man. I'd prefer Chico Hernandez myself. Would like Jenks for the RB but only on a permanent transfer. Never heard of Obiang or Payet so whether they'd do for us in the Premier League is anyones guess. Wouldn't mind Modric to do a Nolan for us personally but that would be a pipe dream.

but I actually like Downing on the ball and still see him as a decent player, would rather keep him then Jarvis and Nolan. The problem is both Nolan and Jarvis won't offer us £5-7m in transfer revenue, £3m total maximum.

We are in fact looking to spend £40-50m if we can attract the right players, as we need to make a statement of intent and possibly to attract additional investment? I believe what I heard as it makes sense with the move next year in my opinion.
