After last night's feast of a match ,Barca v Inter .does anyone beleave any team in the prem would come anywhere near the cream of continental football ?.

If I'm honest I feel the standard of men's football has probably peaked globally. The Premier League is bang average. The Champions League is a lottery. As for the Euros and World Cup, those events are no longer a cakewalk for anyone either.

I think the modern game as we know it now has gone as far as it can.

I don't care what anyone says. VAR and the introduction of technology. Goal line aside has changed the game. Be it delays, interruptions, chalking off goals or awarding penalties?

Something has changed since it's inception, not for the good either!

I'm a fan of var ,the one thing about that drives me nuts is the lines man's flag for offside not going up straight away like before ,trying to justify VAR .
But I like the extra nail bitting 3or 4 minuets to see was it a goal or should he have clipped his toe nails before the game.
