Everton

You can see similarities with Everton to us last season. Only Everton look like getting it right. Big name manager comes in, big money spent.

Whereas we bought Anderson and haller. Everton have got Rodriguez, Allan and Dacoure. The difference in quality is vast.

Our attempt if 'moving into top 6' failed miserably. Let's see how ancellotti gets on. I suspect, a lot better.

They are gonna leave us behind yet again dicksy, a board with ambition, a board that know how to run a football club, manager who has pulling power, and it's all done under an old fashion stadium, The Grand Old Lady.

Yes Moore6,well worded, the old fashioned way, managed properly it still works,Goodison Park has a capacity of 39,500 compared to the Boleyn of 35,000,nothing in it,so proves with the right people, we could of stayed there and progressed,so its proven time and time again,we moved for the benefit of others to pocket a few quid, not for the football club,Everton at worst are a top 10 club, how we would like that.

but thats just it Essex, its not working for them so they are moving to a brand new 55 seater stadium in docklands over 2 miles away. Goodison is a dump. Its far too small. I was there recently and the seats in the main stand are designed to fit the average size person in the 1920's so get two "large" people together and theres no room! Lets see how they get on in the future, will be very interesting. The Everton purists will be moaning I am sure.

The BoM is not a purpose build football stadium, the new straight lines behind the goals look better but its far behind WHL, Emrites and even St Marys but... look at The Etihad, there is hope that it can change and it will. I have said all along the London Tax payer will not put up with subsidising the stadium and it will be sold to the unholy trinity for pennys. At that point the value of the club triples and they ride off into the sun set... hopefully!

Traditionally Eventon were our bench mark, coming seventh its as much as we can dream of! There are now new kids on the block, Leicester and Wolves and all three will at the moment attract better players!

Of all the matches on tv this w e i thought Everton were outstanding ,never thought id be saying that about them ,to me they were always boring but the transition in them on Sunday was remarkable ,clean crisp passing ,solid as a rock ,never once getting flustered by the spuds ,personally i think they'll do really well this year ,good to watch .
The other team i thought did very well was Leicester, once they got into their stride they blitzed W B A ,mind you the baggies never lived up to all the hype
