Anybody else getting this feeling about Potter? nice guy but clearly not up for the role as our manager and unable to handle the pressure.
Roeder lasted two years and his health suffered because of it and judging from yesterdays post match press conference i feel it is going this way for Potter and with an owner like ours who really was not wanting him he must be wondering when not if the vote of confidence from above comes.

About being a football manager. Getting the sack isn't a worry.

He's inherited an average squad, bereft of confidence whilst having the football club run by a runt (apologies for the spelling mistake).

I remember going to Blackburn and losing 7-1 i think but i do rmbr that me my mates and other fans around us had just about given up all hope and were laughing saying go on make it 8/9 it had got to the point where we just could not be bothered and were laughing at our own team....that was a low moment and gallows humour indeed but like you mention Roeder was way out of his depth and Potter as i watched his post match interview does look like a broken man fed up pissed off etc and thinking something along the lines of "this is not my team i inherited it and i am not going to get a chance to show what i can do once i clear the shit out".....Clearly he like others who take the job do not understand Sullivan and the way he behaves and well yes you get nicely compensated when sacked but really is that all that managers nowadays aspire to?

I'm not getting drawn into this negativity anymore. Seasons gone, it's not worth worrying about. I'll start to judge Potter after the first few performances post August. Until then I'm out..
