Submitted by Hammers65 on Sat, 11/04/2015 - 17:13

Have we lost this season from a winning position?it beggars belief,we must be setting some sort of new record for this!!i bet the opposing fans of every team are saying when they go a goal down "dont worry its westham we will score".Its getting beyond a joke....

that was a terrible game 65, i went downstairs to make a cupa at H T and the second half of the spurs villa game came on so i said i'd watch it , bloody good game , what i saw of it , any way when i went upstairs again to watch our match i had a little bet with myself " bet he's got Laurel & Hardy on " and sure nuff !!!!!!!!!

A lot! If we'd had the right tactics to kill teams off, we'd be fighting for 5th place with Southampton. Instead the confidence has drained out our players and we were very lucky to even get a point today.

And that confidence as drained from us fans also bully, lucky to take all the pts v Sunderland we'd be 11th already, palace showed us how to blow em away and on their own turf as well tut tut!

That's right, Pardew has really got Palace firing. Just shows what a dynamic manager can do with limited talent. We need to replace the moribund Allardyce with somebody with spirit, passion and modern ideas.

Especially after that today as that was shocking! Stoke are awkward and the game is always drab but 35% possession and 11 shots v Stokes 18 shots??? I stayed until the end as I knew something was going to happen as you could sense it wasn't over. The fact that Allardyce brought on Carlton Cole and Kevin Nolan says it all and anyone who thinks he is the manager to push this club forward into the future may as well support the Spuds, as they are delusional! Why buy Nene? What was the point? What goes through his mind when he see's Cole and/or Nolan playing so badly? Cole was falling over his feet and contributed nothing but a yellow card and funnily enough so did Nolan! I have had it with Allardyce and the sooner we get rid of this arrogant pathetic excuse for a 'manager' the better. I have no interest in going to the remaining home games and will only do it for Oliver, but he hates Allardyce more than me and left the stadium absolutely gutted. Keep's us up is the excuse most people give but that's not good enough in my book, and I actually think he is now turning on the fans with his decisions as they just don't make any sense and are very bad. Fuming!!!

I feel your pain mate. What people forget is that this hasn't been since just Xmas. Apart from the lucky blip due to injuries for the first half of the season we have been poor for a long time. The season before last was poor, coupled by two really poor cup exits only matched by this season's. Asking people like you and me to turn up week after week and just swallow, because as soon as we get safe we can stop playing isn't good enough. Those that don't go to matches and not only don't pay money, but time and inconvenience travelling etc.. Don't get it. The media and the ones reading the tables every Sunday don't get it. Have you ever heard a pundit ever come out and slag any manager off? It's all diplomatic and polite. A team reflects from it's manager. Pardew is motivated, positive, passionate, humorous sometimes, driven and ambitious, hey ho look at Palace. I tried to have a bet with a Palace mate that they would finish higher than us once Pardew took over, he didn't take it, mug. Football has moved on, loyalty to players doesn't buy you results anymore. The younger managers are playing all the football these days. Only the top four have older managers doing well and who wouldn't with those squads? Our manager has a huge ego and thinks he's better than he is and should've had better teams to manage. I know the org police don't want to hear anymore dissent about Allardyce or Nolan, but until they're gone, how can we move on? We can't even discuss future signings, tactical positions or anything.

Well said. But it's gone beyond being dissent to want a new manager, I'd say the true dissenters are now those who want to keep Sam. He did a good job for 2 years, but last season was AWFUL, and this season is ending up little better. New ideas needed, Sam doesn't have any.

I struggle to believe that they would interfere about a blatantly obvious issue in our club? Allardyce has to go and if this or Nolan are 'taboo' subjects then it's pointless having the Org? At the end of the day we collectively help to pay these people through our hard earned money and most or all of us give 100% in our own jobs whilst earning a small percentage of what these so-called professionals do, so why can't we be critical when clearly some of them are not giving 100% and making very bad decisions week in and week out? I won't stop commenting on it as it is fact and what we are all witnessing every week, despite trying our best to get behind the Team out of our love for the club. Nolan and Allardyce need to go and quick, did a good job but not doing one now.

What a sad state of affairs when our loyal season ticket holders cant bear the thought of going for the rest of the season.Hard earned money spent & then going home with the hump all weekend!I only go about 10 games a season due to work, etc but thats enough for me at the moment!!Im going against burnley though (not confident at all) but we are westham, the fans will be there a long, long time after sam, nolan & carlton are gone-sooner the better too...

I watched all the first half. We started brightly and for 15-20 minutes we looked ok. Stoke got more into the game and had much more possession up to half time. I missed a chunk of the game in the second half but saw the last 20 minutes where we were dead lucky to come away with a draw. Players looked lost. There is no creativity or ideas. Ball retention is poor and skill levels wanting. Attitude is suspect. There needs to be a new philosophy and a mix of ideas as poor tactics and substitutions are costing us dearly. Allardyce picked a good starting line up been which should have been more positive but again we reverted to a defensive mode and sat back trying to catch Stoke on the break but when we did break we were bereft of ideas and passed backwards, sideways or in no mans land. This is bloody poor at any level. Allardyce cannot change but some of the players are not pulling their weight either. Clearout needed at end of the season.

i was listening to Ray Houghton on the radio today , he said the first bit of sense ive heard from the pundits he was asked if Sam was in any danger and he said " the majority of west ham fans never wanted him , because their the type of fans who love their football to be entertaining , they just never took to him "

Well Hammer 65 we've played 32 games, the first 8 we got 13 points. The second 8 we got 15 points, but from here on in it's a downward spiral. The third 8 we got 9 points and the last 8 we got 6 points. What will we get on the last 6, God only knows. The last 16 games 15 points from a possible 48. The thing that brought it home to me about our form was last week on Motd they were discussing the games the relegated threatened teams had left to play and when West Ham was mentioned as one of the opposing teams it was considered a very winnable game for those fighting relegation. Far cry from the early season when West Ham were actually feared.

West Ham manager Sam Allardyce “bewildered” at throwing away two points against Stoke. we all know why. Stoke were far better than us and we were lucky to get a draw.

Some of our players have lost the ability to engineer any craft. Not many clubs are less dynamic than us. It all looks too laboured and lacking direction. Players to me look afraid to express themselves apart from Kouyate and maybe Sakho. Don't know whether this is because of a fear factor or because they have been told how to play. I know it isn't in Allardyce's DNA to be dynamic but this cautious approach is affecting the players I feel. Some players have gone into their shells and look stale. The sooner we have a shake up the better. Cannot see many more points coming our way this season. How sad we have become but not as sad as some of the clubs in the relegation battle. I would just like to see some passion and flair coming through not stifling stagnation. We just haven't moved on at all.

one of the biggest factors in our recent decline, for me anyway is our ultra thin bench , when your lookin at fotball on the telly and you see the type of top quality players that come on for most of the teams ,in the top half anyway, then look at the crap we bring on , i think it might have the opposite affect that its meant to , in other words a lot of the team is creamed by now and who do they see coming on as reinforcements Laurel & fukin Hardy

Yeah it's definitely a big factor. Still got too many players who aren't good enough for PL top half. But we have only been back 3 years, and building a high quality 25 man squad takes time, or a billionaire owner. And we're still heavily in debt.

That's true it takes time to build a high quality squad and understand for a club like ours it could take longer but when you go out and buy players to improve the squad why do you stil persist with the same shit comng off the bench? Amalfitno, Poyet, Nene anyone of those would be a better bloddy option than CnN. Even Cole acknowledges he needs to leave to get more game time and knows he won't be moving to a better team so why does Sam persist and persist?

Why weaken our midfield by moving Kouyate to defence and putting Nolan in there. Why not give this kid an early chance to play against top opposition. We've already blown any chance of Europe and the way we're going more than likely top 10 so do something useful the future.

Bet Pelligrini is delighted his Man City are up against us next. Home banker if ever there was one!!

People are upset over the fact Nolan and Cole came on but lets look at the subs - jussi, o brien, demmel, jarvis, amalfatano, nolan and cole. So regardless of who he brought on, fans would still not be happy. If he brought no one on - fans would moan that "we should have brought on nolan or cole". No matter what bfs does, fans will demand the oppossite
