How much more can we endure?

As fans we do not ask much but we do ask that the players put in a shift and sadly we did not do that last night. I was at the game with my Father and his Best friends son and when the line up was announced i have never seen so many supporters shaking there heads and ask what is going on? and nobody had an answer.

Not sure how the match looked on the box but in the stadium despite our support to many of our players were just strolling around expecting something to happen instead of making it happen and that is something that cannot be allowed to happen. The first goal i had the perfect view and like others around me we all said that's onside and a goal so why VAR took so long is painful.

Stats wise yes it looks like we dominated them and yes we did miss a fair few chances but that happens in matches just look at Manchester Utd against us few weeks back and really this was just the same game with us being the ones for not putting clear cut chances away.

Lopetegui looks a broken man on the sidelines and yes we were singing for him to get sacked but we all know Sullivan will not pull the trigger until we are in the bottom three because it will not cost him as much with the contract agreed.

So how much longer can we endure this nonsense i mean we have some very good talented players but they just seem lost no sense of direction nobody knowing there roles on the pitch and sadly Bowen just is not a Captain he is to quiet to meek we need a proper leader on the pitch and in the dugout but with our board you just no that they wont do that.

My father is seriously questioning about going to the Wolves game on Monday now and that really tells me just how bad things have gotten like many here you cut yourself you bleed claret and blue but how much can we all have left with this continuing fiasco.

When you get angry and frustrated by what you see in front of your own eyes and then shout out at the top of your lungs various expletives at the shit show you are seeing and wonder why WHY is nothing being done about this mess does nobody else seems to see it then you come onto sites like this and look at you tube and realise its not just me there are others like me(not Pundit wind up merchants)fellow West Ham fans who are equally frustrated and have no answer as to why the Chairman is acting like the captain of the Titanic only in our case we see the Iceberg we no what is coming if we do not do something to avoid the catastrophe that lays ahead if we stay on this course....I totally understand your Fathers feelings and sadly the little man in charge is the soul cause of this and he must thrive on the suffering he dishes out to us.

Well we're stuck with the twat for the Wolves game. I've got Cunha in my fantasy team for this one. Hoping Gary O Neil comes out on top. Just to get this wet wipe of a Coach out once and for all. Can't believe I'm wanting this. But I feel whoever comes in will get us on track with a clear identity. Please God!!

But that was the best I've seen us play for some time. Yes, the defence made some awful cock ups but stats indeed don't lie. 31 shots is a Premier League record for West Ham, 10 on target, 10 blocked and 11 off target, and until the subs came on we were by far the superior team. I was unfortunately in a pub with a few Leicester boys and even they were wondering how the hell we didn't bury them. The turning point for me was taking Soler off. He was running that game
PS. This is NOT me advocating keeping Loopy on or get rid. Just saying that last night cannot be pinned on the manager. It was one of those nights.

Unfortunately Deluded stats don't pay the bills ,you can have all the shots on target you want it doesnt alter the fact that we are sadly lacking in several departments ,we don't even have a deasent keeper all due respect Fab ,he's been a wonder for us down the years, Souchec and his mate Coufal need to drop a division or two, and maybe take Ings and Paddy the Greek with them, Coufal is to predictable, he get the ball and runs like fuck with it till he gets space to lob it in ,think he's lacking in confidence, Souchec in his first season was a revelation but is now a passenger who gets the odd goal now and then ,Ings was good one time for saints and villa but with us he seems happy to collect his £140 grand a week and share the match with Ant ( get well soon mate),and now Fullcrug.and as for Paddy the Greek ,I've seen better C Hs at Morecambe.
I'm not one of those calling for Loppies head ,as bubblegirl says all the prospective bosses will give us a wide berth.

We are stuck with this clown until the New Year. We will beat Wolves Monday. Then lose to Bournemouth & Brighton. He will then save his job temporarily with a win over Southampton in a must win game.
The world & his wife knows he is getting the sack sooner rather than later. Just pull the trigger now and give a new man a few games before the window opens.

I feel for Lopetegui a bit, i think in parts of the games West Ham have played some decent football, the players aren’t helping him too much though, Alvarez, Paqueta and Kudus have all been poor, he has a striker that’s been injured for a good part of the season and to be honest I’m not sure he was the right buy anyway. Bowen probably saved Lopetegui’s job last night with his performance, for me he was only one of a couple of players that actually looked like they were up for it last night against Wolves, some of the players need to realise that regardless of who’s managing the team they are getting paid very well by the club to do a job, some of West Ham’s so called star players are behaving like brats

Some of the football has indeed been decent. A bit naive maybe, certainly defensively. The big issue is scoring goals, obviously as can be seen by the stats on shots on goal. What seems to be conveniently forgotten on this Org is back in those dark, dreadful Moyes days, we were ALL crying out to play on the front foot and Lopetegui has delivered that and it would seem Orgers are STILL not happy.
Just my opinion, but the issues I see are that Killman and Mavro are not up to the job between them (Bring back Oggie and Zouma), Rodriguez and Alvarez aren't either and you cannot have Kudus AND Bowen in the same team if Sommerville is down the left. A striker is a priority. The Fullkrug injury is unfortunate and we don't know how it would have panned out had that injury not happened.
I would hazard a guess that he's not an idiot and has probably got plans in the January window to address these issues.

Yes you’re right, the football has been a bit naive at times, I think defensively they look very vulnerable, the full backs are bombing forward and I don’t think either Kilman, Mavropanos or Alvarez are blessed with pace so anything through the middle is a worry, saying that I thought Mavropanos had a decent game on Monday apart from the possible penalty incident, not convinced with Kilman yet. I think the transition from a very defensive and counter attacking team to a possession based team is a difficult thing to implement in a short time, but I think there are signs that it’s happening, West Ham desperately need a decent striker and all the ‘star’ players need to knuckle down and not think about moving to their next club.

It has been a mess nobody seems to no when or where they are meant to be on the pitch line up changes every week a playing system that Einstein cannot figure out.

For example we all know Bowens best position is on the right not up the middle it has been tried and it has not been a success so why not put Kudus there? and answer is nope he is going out on the right side which is fine as he has that is his position as well or what has been happening and that is Kudus on the left and Summerville on the bench not the best for either player and no Pacman as well although he has been poor playing TWO defensive midfielders at home against Wolves with the worst defensive record come on now.
Against Newcastle it looked like Loppy had stumbled across a midfield system that worked but he changed it for the Leicester game look what happened.
Mav had a good game against Wolves but of course he has his faults but so does Todibo and Killman but when the opposition are on you all the time with little help to stem the tide from the middle and nobody to help us get forward more often then yes mistakes will happen.
Alvarez is a liability as you are just waiting for a red card Soucek bless him he is limited we all no that but stick him in front of the back four to protect them and get in the box for set pieces then he is very good indeed but ask him to pass the ball quickly or further than ten yards to a team mate then you have a problem but i would rather him than Alvarez as Soucek rarely picks up cards.

So why was Ings not started? yes he probably would not make the full 90 mins but Fullkrug was on the bench and you have to give him mins to get match fit but again unused crazy decision so how long is this makeshift system going to last up front? because Bournemouth away next and we need somebody up front who can hold the ball for us so if not Ings if not Fullkrug then who? as Bowen as i said before is better on the right side than leading the line.

I think going on current form the best central midfielder we have is Soler, can keep possession and can also see a pass, more often than not he’s passing forward rather than sideways too. I wouldn’t start Pacqueta, I think he needs to get his head right and either move on or knuckle down, he doesn’t look interested and his stupid shot attempt in stoppage time against Wolves should’ve got him a rollicking. I think he plays Bowen up front because he’ll put in the yards, I don’t see Kudus doing that, for me Kudus has to start out wide because that seems to be where he’s most effective, I think Kudus could learn a bit from Bowen’s work ethic, Kudus is another that doesn’t look bothered at times.
I guess the 2 holding midfielder idea is to cover the full backs when they go forward, problem is we don’t have one that can cover the ground, both Alvarez and Rodriguez have lead boots and will often pick up cards because of that.
Both Ings and Antonio, when he was playing, are not good enough for any system if we want goals, Duran looks to have been the one they missed out on, I think he would’ve suited this system.

Wouldn’t be surprised if this is Lopetegui’s last game tonight, I think there will need to be big improvements to get a result at Bournemouth tonight, although paying him off his contract may sway Sullivan in letting him stay!
