Sullivan backing Moyes is the news coming out followed later by the rumour that if we lose to Forest he will be sacked well woop e doop if his tenure as our manager is on this one game as we are to believe it was the same against Everton what a stupid way to run a club.......Decisions need to be made and by giving Moyes extra games we are just slowly choking ourselves to death....Dyche should of been the one soon as he got the Everton job i was and am still in no doubt he will keep them up as he has more about him IMO than the brush he gets tarred with and so he has sparked them into life whilst our zombified corpse keeps twitching along...
nobody out there they say Bollocks there are plenty out there but because of our situation right now we just need someone to get the players smiling and believing in themselves again and Moyes most definetly is not.......Benitez doing punditry this past week putting his old mush in the frame for any job out there and it would not surprise me if the club did that but he is by no means a LONGTERM soloution if they are going that way then it has to be till the end of the season with a nice bonus for keeping us up and no more.....maybe Twitch could come back!!!(tin hat firmly on)the club just have to do something because right now we are a laughing stock.
Frank/De Zerbi/Silva.......the first two was a case of who?? especially De Zerbie lets face it soon as Potter left Brighton we all thought thats it for them selling there best players for £50/60million they will fall apart but if anything they are playing even better how did they find this manager?by doing there homework so the usual treadmill of failed managers were not even considered and proof right now is in the pudding the same with Frank but he quite rightly signed a new contract with Brentford another club who sell when the big clubs come calling but again it does not seem to hinder there progress....Silva unfairly treated at Watford(who isn't)mare at Everton a busted flush by all accounts but nope he went to Fulham and here we go another so called smaller club playing good football and flying up the league whilst we wring our hands on a decision that should of been made when the world cup started......i struggle to understand how men who have made an absolute fortune in there lives by making decisions cannot do what everyone apart from Keown can see and mr Pearce you say that you chat to Moyes regular and that he is HURTING well think about the fans who have to watch that shite week in week out and earn a few hundred a week to see it.....
Agreed Mcbikeman
how about carrick for the job
You can't bring in these
You can't bring in these young first time managers and hope they succeed. Look at Lampard and Gerrard. Both thought they could cut the mustard after "trials" at Derby and Rangers respectively but both of em out of a job now and in Frank's case, be lucky to get another one!
Carrick has to be one for the
Carrick has to be one for the future. He's doing well at Boro. But I feel our next manager will be "I'm here for Troffis" Benitez.
According to certain sources and Benitez himself saying he's ready for the Premier League and turning down Leeds. Suggests, he's not far away now...
Its Potter for me
Chavski will probably write off this season and have a new man waiting in the wings for the start of next season.
The board will part with the bugeyed Moyesasaurus regardless of our fait and Potter will be available... perfect solution for me. Its all about Horses for Courses and Chavski was never a good fit just like Bugeyes at Manc U.
It wasnt fair of Chelsea to
It wasnt fair of Chelsea to come in for Potter ,much too big a task ,problem you cant refuse once on of the top clubs come comes for you ,it would seem like an act of cowardice ,he's got the moyes syndrome he cant score goals .
Horses for courses.. he was
Horses for courses.. he was perfect for Brighton and should have stayed, same for Bugeyes at Everton.
Same for Gareth Ainsworth, what a stupid idea giving up Wycombe to go to QPR.. he won’t last 12 months!
Dont agree there Dartford about staying
How could he not of gone? it is a once in a lifetime opportunity and lets face it if he failed he is minted for the rest of his natural.....nope he deserved the chance but the one thing people have to know is at clubs like that you have to win the league or a trophy every season so where as Potter had the time at Brighton to build a side and a way of playing throughout the club you are never going to be given that kind of time at clubs like Chelski....he'd be a good fit for us but it will be a wait n see i guess.
Not sure Mc
Correct that short term you make big money but longer term with a stable job albeit at a lower salary I think over a longer period he would have made more money. 50% of the Chavski salary for say 10 years is better than 100% of the Chavski gold for a couple of seasons.
Potter would be good for us.
Potter would be good for us.
