Football should not surprise any of us but Tuchels sacking from Chelsea yesterday and the seemingly imminent arrival of Potter which would cost all told something in the region of £36million pound well i for one am happy that we are not run by American owners.

And to top it all and i could not help but shake my head in disbelief Brighton v Crystal Palace has been called off because of a train strike! how can that be agreed by the league and what kind of precedent does that set?the decision to my mind is laughable and somewhat surprised Palace have agreed to it i mean coaches and cars are available no doubt but i guess i am living in a bygone era.

Crazy crazy crazy this world of football today.

And yes my eyebrow did a raise with the Brighton Palace news.As for Chelski if Potter does join them he will probably be there 2 years lose a game and get sacked horrid club and americans they have to know its not a franchise like they have in the States but there problem not ours thankfully

Will it be a case of did really well at a smaller club but then is out of his depth elsewhere!Lampard did great at Derby,Gerrard did great at Rangers,el pel won the prem with Citeh...Potter may regret leaving Brighton

Potter like many at smaller clubs who do well but are constantly overlooked by the top clubs when the jobs come up will be relishing the challenge to prove doubters wrong......he could not let this opportunity pass him by and if it all goes wrong at least he has tried and seen what differences there is between managing a side like Brighton against a big 6 side that demands results and cannot accept failure in any shape or form....pressure will be on from the get go...come on Fulham.

Who really cares? Brighton will be weakened because he’s going which helps us in European ambitions. Tuchel is a knob everyone could see that. I’m just glad Chelski didn’t get Pochetino

Harry Potter and his wizards sleeve. Just hope it doesn't end up like a tattered windsock when those crazy Americans have finished with him........

I believe there should be a transfer window for managers too. If you are not happy then you get rid during the two windows. Either that or a penalty, points deduction, if you fire the manager mid season.
