After nearly 30 years the wombles return home tonight and for the fans of that club who resurrected there club from the ruins i salute you because you are true fans you refused to accept the demise of your club and stuck two fingers up to the football league for giving permission for you to be moved to Milton Keynes.....it is a shame they cannot be there in person because of the ongoing covid drama but to be back at your spiritual home Plough Lane will bring many a tear to there eyes and as a West Ham Fan who have lost our home i look to you with envy...Congratulations against the odds you deserve it.

guys, guys... its not quite the same.

All credit to the original Wombles for rejecting the Franchise FC of Milton Keynes. We have more in common with Sunderland, Reading, York, Leicester, Rotherham, Oxford etc etc in that we left for new pastures. I think Man City is our beacon, took over an athletics stadium and made a better conversion to a footie ground. I still believe the same will happen for us, just a matter of time before the London Tax payer wants rid, the unholy trinity buy it for tuppence and sell the club for £1B.

I think the real debate is watching how life develops at MK Dons. I fear that Red Bull will be at the front of the line to buy us and we become Franchise FC of East London. At that point I think even I will walk :o(
