it was a poor palace side but a simple 4-4-2 looks so much better. feghouli suddenly looks good playing a natural winger role. carroll had service from wings and lanzini was released from shackles. will bilic stick with it or will he revert to trying the conjested midfield stuff that goes nowhere? the back four looked far more solid too
442 all the time for me.
442 all the time for me. CompleteLy different team second half and Sam Byram needs to stay in the team now
The more Byram plays the
The more Byram plays the better he will get. Hes not afraid of a tackle either,

Yep! 442 dicksy theres goals in them boys!
4-4-2...
You know it makes sense!
you know
my feelings about playing 442 Dicksy its the same as yours and without having to pander to a certain player this formation looks so much more natural for our squad and from what I was hearing it led to the transformation of the game against palace as the players looked much more comfortable...would prefer Antonio to play wide than alongside carroll but as long as we play 442 who cares.
Gonna throw a curve ball in
Gonna throw a curve ball in lads. I thin 3-5-2 can still work or 3-5-Lanzini-1. If we had Reid, Ogbonna and Kouyate at the back, Cresswell and Byram as wing backs, Noble, Obiang and Lanzini, in the middle with Lanzini being allowed to go where he wants and Antonio and Carroll up front. all your best players on the pitch and a place for Oxford to integrate into
a nice idea
but I would not play ogbonna as he has not been playing well at the back this season IMO and would like to see oxford slot in there for the experience...we are out of the cups and I honestly don't see us going down it would be a further grounding for him and help progress him along nicely...lets face it ginge I think will go in the summer so getting oxford some game time makes sense.
