Hello long time, I read News Now All Sources a few weeks ago, before we sold 2 of our squad, and there was mention of a showcase of talent who were on the fringes of Man City's youth squad, they were going to be playing an exhibition game in order to thin out their reserve pool. The likes of Mubama and Divine Mukasa who were basically playing for their future. Just wondered if we had sent any scouts to look for players?? Remember that the club were upset that Mukasa had left, another player was Xavier. Parker.
Just that the season kicks off in just over 3wks and we've only just started to bring together another network of scouts. As it appears from what other sources are saying that the new director of football is out of his depth and has no clue on any of the players we may require.

its a phrase bounded about a lot at West Ham, the home grown, East London rich in talent etc etc. In reality we have clubs like Chelsea and South London that have overtaken us.

We have a habit of losing so called rising stars, I keep an eye out for those high profile leavers particularly Sonny Perkins who left for Leeds but now applies his trade with Wigan and Grady Diangana who did OK at West Brom and now at Elche CF in Spain.

I watched an under 18s game last season against Chavski, the little striker and captain was very impressive but shocked to hear he was nicked from our academy!

Its good to see a number of our youngsters are getting a chance and in the Chumps league they should excel. The were the FA Youth Cup winners so should be decent. You still need experience around them hence desperate to see signings as we need pace particularly in the midfield!

But truthfully how many kids from the Academies really make it...yes it is good to see when some do and hopefully Golombeckis looks like the next one who may just have the stones to give it a good go and i really do hope he shows what he is about this season and saves us a few quid to.

Now i am not sure if true but i heard a rumour that the club were willing to let Potts go and for me that is just insanity...now you can judge him all you like on the Prem matches and may agree he cannot do it at that level but we are not in the Prem we are in the championship and when you hear how the Portsmouth manager and fans loved him and would of liked the chance to buy him once his loan ended in our current situation it would be complete madness to let him go this summer.

But being in the side one moment then dropped the next and just getting a few minutes here and their well it is hard to build confidence.
But he has gone now and i wish him well.
