I could not believe what i was hearing on various talk shows yesterday just what are some Fans thinking?.
Moyes dragged us up out of the mire and has turned us into a very good premier league side that has qualified for europe through the league two season running thats as rare as rocking horse manure!.
Don't get me wrong Moyes has plenty of faults and his biggest is dithering on big decisions during the match or deciding on transfers that has to stop....he has made it known he has the final and only say on transfers but for me that is a weakness he needs to trust his staff and listen more.

Take yesterdays match it was poor from both sides from the start but being a side who could qualify for the Europa league we just looked like bags packed and feet up on the beach...We scored out of nothing and then second half Moyes had clearly decided to protect that leadinstead of going in search for a killer second we got steamrolled by players and a manager who were much better on the day.

Potter took his defensive midfielder off Maupay striker was on and just like last week the opposition got instant rewards and deservedly ran out winners....Moyes in the meantime was playing pocket billiards and instead of impacting the game with a tactical switch and subs he let the game go on and to anyone watching it was inevitable what was going to happen and making subs so late in the day it was laughable.

Moyes out Potter in? thats a debate for another time but considering the resources we have compared to those of Brighton who finished just 5 points behind us maybe it is a debate that will soon gather momentum if Moyes spitting of the dummy after the game is anything to go by.

He's got his faults but some westham fans make me laugh! Don't forget the clowns didn't even want him,but he's done wonders imo & he's the best manager we've had in a long long time

Sure we can do better but we can also do a whole lot worse. We tried the “best” when it comes to managers. Pelegrini came with an immaculate CV and we all know how that turned out. We need some good but sensible signings, nothing flash. I would also like to see him give youth a chance but what do I know.

And my biggest criticism of him is his fear of taking the game to the opposition. I always despised his Everton team and the style of football he played there and it didn't change when he went to moneybags Man Utd so it's fair, in my opinion, to state that even with huge amounts of money his style will never change. The football he has played here at West Ham has been dreary although on the plus side has been moderately successful but this is something West Ham fans of the Greenwood Lyall era ( of which I am one) would not have accepted. Allardyce, who had an inherently more difficult task during his term here was never accepted for his style of football which if we are perfectly honest with ourselves, was far more varied than any team Moyes has put out and also was more positive in tactical changes when needed. Regards Pellgrini, I have to confess a certain sympathy for him as he bought in some exciting players and for a period of time we were running quite well up until the injury to Fabianski and the Roberto saga. I genuinely believe that had Fabs not suffered that injury then we could possibly have gone on to better things with him.
Finally, under Moyes, in my opinion, we might just as well do away with our academy because no kids are going to get a chance under him unless his hand is utterly forced, as in the case of Johnson. The brief glimpse of our youngsters in the dead rubber game against Dinamo I thought looked impressive enough to be given more game time (not all at the same time in the Prem obviously) but I can't see that happening any time soon.
Going to be a lot of goings and comings one would think this season. Lets see how much of a hero Moyes is at the endo f next season eh?

The bloke was arrogant, thought he was too good for Westham sat there chewing gum like an idiot.Never got the Westhan tradition & why would he being from Dudley of all places,he got us up ( just) playing hoofball...as for el pel anyone with an ounce of savvy knows that klopp & pep would struggle to do better than moyes at Westham!! The dildos thought get pel in & it will be instant success, typical of them & yes deluded some of us were about in the Greenwood/Lyall eras!

Thing is Hammers, our fans were mostly crying out for a "big name" the board got him, most were delighted and we then know what happened. Personally I thought Moyes did a good job first time round and that was not good enough for some, in effect the "board" bowed to fan pressure and it cost us dear!

has got us into europe twice in a row, something fat sam never did ,look at your picture tells us what the fans thought of him and he got rid of a few youth team players ,3 play for luton ,so i say Moyes is the man,COYI’s and i was about in the Greenwood/Lyall era as well

Since sky got involved with football and pumped millions into it the game has become a short term results business, West Ham can’t compete on a financial footing with the top 4 and now Newcastle so teams like West Ham have to make themselves hard to beat, that doesn’t go hand in hand with good football does it. The problem Moyes will have now is that he’s set the bar high for the past 2 seasons, if he can’t keep West Ham in amongst the top 6 then he’ll feel the pressure from owners and the fans, and that won’t encourage him to use young players unless they’re really something fantastic, with the exception of Rice West Ham haven’t had much to shout about in that department for years anyway to be fair. He’s the owners dream manager, doesn’t waste money and in the past 2 seasons has probably over achieved on expectation levels.

I'm struggling to think who was the last lad to come through the ranks who got a decent amount of game time, possibly Anton Ferdinand? Even Johnson ( who I admit i am not a massive fan of) is only being slipped in in emergencies and even then mostly out of position. And to be perfectly honest I can't see him shifting Coufal out of first selection any time soon either as although he is a moderately fair RB he is woeful going forward usually passing backwards if not more adventurously, square. As for Moyes... I can only think of Rooney as an academy player who has broken through to regular first team football at ANY of his previous clubs and he quickly was moved on.
