Not such a Happy Christmas

Submitted by Red Neck Iron on Wed, 23/12/2015 - 14:21

I know it's not football, but the people in Durham can't be about to have a happy Christmas being flooded twice in the last couple of weeks, and with more to come after just getting straight there is every chance Christmas Day will be under water. Now come on Cameron enough is enough stop giving foreign aid to countries that neither deserve or need it and hit this problem hard with some real cash! Anywhere in danger of flooding should be worked on and not just talked about. Cameron your duty is to the people of Britain first and foremost. Just do it!

Tough to see this unfolding, and my thoughts go out to those suffering. The same has happened heere in Oz, up north. They've got the added problems of bloody crocodiles prowling the water too.

Bloody crocs! No pun but it's never rains but it pours! Just heard Cameron say he MAY give them more money. MAY! MAY? What world is this idiot live in? I'm sure we will be ok when the foreign aid we pay countries during tragedy is returned now is our turn? No wait foreign aid only works one way doesn't it.

Charity should start at home and my heart goes out to all those that have been flooded numerous times. We are ok up here in County Durham but that is not true of those living in places like York and the Lake District. Beautiful places but unless something changes quickly who is going to want to live near there in the future!
