well its coming round to that time of year again and what a year its proved to be...we were going great guns till bfs finally caved and had to have carroll and Nolan playing and it all went tits up after the master tactician decided which games to try and win and which we could not(we all know what I'm talking about),,,yet here we are a year on the styles changed we have a stronger squad just look at how we are coping with the injuries this time around...and before any of you get on your high horse and say we had more points under sam or we have not won since chelski.......just remember the football we were forced to endure...no I am thankful that the board made the right moves eventually and with the players we aquired in the summer I think it will be a very good new year much improved from last time with the WEST HAM WAY back and fans with a smile on there faces COYI

The clamour to oust the large
The clamour to oust the large one at the end of the season must have been deafening the two Dave's and they made the absolute right call at the right time. No hanging around and listening to more excuses from him. Final game done, there's the door.
A great transfer window, a very good start to the season and we're looking ok now despite injuries to 90% of the attacking players. Who'd have though Carroll would be the only fit forward? Hopefully two (easy on paper) games up next as opposed to L'Arse and Chelski this time last year may kick start us again after no wins in 6 but we've deserved more from a couple of those so maybe lady luck will smile on us at Xmas for a change.
