Never good having to rely on others to help you out and now we are back in the shit because what was once in our own hands is now gone.
You can say what you like about how "unlucky we were against Brentford" but the fact is we lost because we never tried to win until we were losing....Everton we got away with because of the ridiculous subs and trying to defend a one goal lead for 20mins+Lucky for Nuno Wilson saved his bacon but a leopard wont change its spots and because of that we are down........yes we are no point in thinking anything else.
So whats next? well the future is easy to predict regarding player exodus on a scale we saw last summer and oh how those decisions have come to bite us in the arse eh Sullivan Brady Potter and co...I can see Nuno either walking or getting the bullet and just who would we give the job to? who has experience of getting a club out of the meat grinder that is the championship? who is available for £0? why one Scott Parker of course and do not be surprised if/when that happens.
So now some of the Academy players will be promoted to the first team and if we have any cash left after paying off some of the debt we will get journeymen on low wages to try and flesh out the squad and help the youngsters try and cope with fan demands of an immediate return but what then if we did manage to get promoted? and that most certainly is going to be a big ask to do that.
So we get back to the promise land by some miracle you are then struck with the new financial rules so as the Barcodes have discovered about the closed shop that is the Prem you can have all the money in the world but you are not allowed to spend it you can only use what you generate and so from being a stable Prem club(i no i laughed at that when i typed it)by being mismanaged for so many years the likes of Brentford/Palace/Fulham/Villa(rmbr they were in the championship)/Bournemouth/Forest/Leeds/Sunderland...all who were below us when we won the Conference league will be pushing on and so we will become a Yo Yo club neither one thing or the other.
Painting a pretty bleak future you may say but i am just pointing out the reality of the situation...It wont stop me supporting the club but years of mismanagement has Lead to this and the next 10 years will not be any better with owners like ours who stumble from one wrong decision to the next.

with us hitting the bar and the post when you need a bit of luck you never get it in these situations, we never get any luck When Craig Pawson is the ref, didnt even seem to be a VAR when Bs got their penalty. Then to cap it all the spurs result and tbf the villa team that Emeri fielded was not that bad but he still played Cash made 7 changes,Tielemans,Rodgers Buendi all played, so we cant keep using lame excuses, the bottom line will be that Everton must beat Spuds and we must beat Leeds

You just keep repeating over n over. Its totally unfair and ridiculous to expect a manager to abandon his tried n trusted tactics.

You dont employ a manager, then dictate the way he should approach matches. Thats his style, just like moyes had his. Everyone needs to accept it not say he needs do it different

Sorry i upset you by not going along with your POV.....but as long as your happy for us to always let the opposition whoever they are have the initiative from the off no probs.
And fans have every right to expect better when clearly his tactics fail.

You put a post up that must be agreed with? Its pretty clear ppl get carried away when it comes to saying how a manager should do things. I get it, its easy ...from the armchair. We are all guilty of it.

However its not a pov, its a fact. The club appointed him based on his wolves, forest success. Why on earth should we expect him to ruck up here and suddenly be pep in all out attack mode?

Thats the point. Its not personal, not sure why you think that

Really? again its my opinion but clearly you do not agree with which is your choice but to say i am demanding everyone agrees with me lol what a sad person you must be...and Pep mode again did i say that nope...you seem to think that keep hitting your head against a brick wall and eventually the wall will break instead of trying something different....NOW ALL OF YOU MUST NOW AGREE WITH ME i demand it!

At the end of the day, I feel Nuno was given too much to do. To get to where we have is an achievement really. I know his tactics are a bit frustrating and we tend to all see how to put it right. But there's no getting away from the form we've flirted with. If he'd have been there from the start I don't think we'd be in this position.

Probably a mid table finish, which by itself is not really what we aspire to. But is about all we would be capable of as things stand. So it is what it is, at the end of the day.
