I guess you guess may have already seen / heard this. Its a bit of a long haul but very interesting so stick with it.

Couple of things that are maybe a bit worrying:

1) Move to a bigger stadium and larger support with cheap tickets hasn't yielded a great more revenue, less than £2M / season!
2) Money available for transfers in this window depended on players leaving.
3) Value of the club "just" £300M.
4) Umbro are owned by Nike... didnt know that!
5) We need more football Tourists, implying too many season ticket holders that are conventional fans not spending enough on match day.

Im sure that last observation had 65 in mind :o)

Only just seen this thread.firstly any money raised for isla is fantastic in my book.none of the above points surprise me,but the last one gripes with me...i havnt a problem with football tourists it was going to happen with the jump up 8n capacity.but if it's implying that the proper westham fans are not "spending enough"on match day then my suspicions about this board are starting to surface

Looked at the price of a ST the saving works out not much more than 20 quid a game compared to just going on the day! But what if a ST holder picks & chooses his games & say attends 10 games a season? Not much of a saving there!! I do agree that at least you know your guaranteed your seat for every game, with friends family etc.im interested to know Dartford do you get a discount for renewing?

No, no discount :o) I have a seat in the TB, front of the upper tier. The view is brilliant so no idea why people are always bitching and moaning. Like you I will never make all 19 games due to Monday nights etc etc. On those occasions I sell to friends or give to family, the seat is never empty! I like it because firstly I see my Bruv, we are separated from either side of London so just a chance for a catch up and maybe too many soda's and secondly guaranteed all games sat with the same nice fans for now 3 seasons... They are now Family!!! :o)

Come and join us, the popcorn is fresh the tourists are very friendly :o)

Im coming to that Man Cave buddy! Expect some proper memorabilia. But, to get the real authentic Boleyn experience you will need get down the tip for a beer sodden carpet, wait 30 minutes before you serve yourself a pint and then spill half of it over your jeans pretending that a muppet pogoing to the Cockney Rejects has just knocked into you... Appy Daz!!!

That 50K waiting list was always propaganda. You know when Suli is lying... his lips move! No doubt we learn today that our opening game of the season will be away to yet another top 6 side although fake news suggesting its Watford away... lets see, keep the faith!

I heard that any sale that values the club at £125m or more triggers a repayment of somewhere between 7.5 per cent and 30 per cent, that goes back to the public purse, with more punitive rates the higher the price tag if the deal takes place before summer 2021. A sale after that would not trigger a repayment.another 2 years till we win the title then ;)

Thats very interesting Moore 6, I wasnt aware of those clauses. I still think the porn dwarfs will buy the LS for a bargain and that will increase the value of the club significantly. At that point I hope they sell!
