West Ham would you watch them?

As a supporter of our club the answer is yes but in all my days i have to say these last year since January we are not an easy watch.
The free flowing attacking football we started with last season has gone it is like an exorcism has been performed on the team and it has been driven out and replaced by a hollow shell of a side lacking any real enthusiasm for the game.
Whilst in all my years watching West Ham i am not about to claim we are world beaters but we have always been entertainers and yes it has not won us much playing that way but i would rather that than what of late has been served up.
I despair at the constant passing across the back line which is so slow i think i could play there! the lack of any movement in the middle of the park and lack of creativity is really alarming as we have always had players who can knock a ball around and create things but currently it would seem not.
The tactics of our manager to not lose a game also means we do not try to win even when playing at home that my friends for me is the wrong attitude to take and because of it we really are not easy on the eye and whilst its not a real concern other supporters just switch off and would rather watch paint dry than a West Ham game it is to me.
I love my football and enjoy watching others when our team is not playing but lately a lot of my pals who not being a fan of our club would rather play dominos or whist when we are on.
So Mr Moyes please do something to make us exciting to watch again maybe play Antonio wide right Scamacca through the middle and maybe our gem of a player bowen dovetailing behind that would be exciting and something different to see.

I feel exactly the same mate! I'm starting to switch off the tv more before the end of a game, never mind watching westham live! Not interested in the L.S tried it & it's definitely not for me & my family like the sacred UP.
Our flair players, benny Bowen Cornet scam all need to start imo to get the fans arses off their seats, downes is better than souscek so get him out there as well! We want to be entertained moyesy so ffs do the right thing

There dont seem to be any structure any plan of movement, its just kick the ball, hope for the best, then run up the pitch following the bloke with it,heaven knows what they practice when training.....Im leaving the game earlier these days,as are many others, and as you say its not pleasing to watch.

Was the point where I lost interest in actually going to matches. I was a season ticket holder at UP and did every vote to scupper the move, obviously to no avail. I gave the new stadium a couple of visits,(can't critcise if you haven't been) and it was a complete turn off, even after a visit to a game in the 66 seats, although it has improved slightly with bringing the ends closer.
I raised my eyebrows at your comment regarding the so called free flowing football of early last season because that certainly isn't how I saw it. Yeah we were winning games, but exciting, oh no no no. We are now seeing an Everton mk2 at West Ham now and God knows, I saw enough Everton games at UP to turn me off Moyes for life.
Apart from leaving UP I think there were three defining moments for my disillusionment of West Ham, Apart from the obvious recruitments of the Curbishleys, Grants n Zolas, probably the biggest cock up was Roeder. It was shame that the Pardew era went sour, probably the last manager we've had who had an inkling of what Hammers fans wanted. The next turning point was the stupid employment of Bilic. Say what you like about Allardyce and his brand of football but one cannot take away that he built a structure in the club and left a legacy which could be built on. That was all undone by Bilic in his second season at UP by his dismantling of the team from his first moderately successful season and the implementing of his disastrous own. His saving grace was obviously Payet but the thing about Payet was it hid a lot of the failings of the rest of the team.
I still watch West Ham but from the comfort of my armchair or the pub,and still hope they do well. I can't for the life of me see the football improving in any way in the current climate though we might do an Everton and sit mid table consistantly. But then. Curbishley was good a that as well

Of view there deluded! That's probably my biggest disappointment ever as a westham fan that we left UP so quietly & I still believe to this day that most fans that attend are just making the most of a disastrous decision! Yes we will probably stay in the prem most seaso ns at the L.S but is that worth it to rip out the soul of a club? Not imo it's not & all that bollox about leaving a legacy to the local community & affordable housing etc blah blah blah....an estate built on the old girl ready made for City workers & electric car users!! Typical of the dildos & bonus.Talk about BS baffles brains & it certainly worked....

Having our first 9 league games of the season on a Sunday is a real pain in the arse living down under. Early start for work on the Monday means it all depends on how big Saturday is and whether I get enough rest during the day Sunday to sit up until 1am. Skipped the City game. Knew there was no chance of win so best to get a decent night's sleep and watch the highlights. Watched 1st half of the Forest game but then went to bed, fairly sure we might get something from the game. Not in the best mood Monday morning. Had a late night Saturday and an early start Sunday with kids sport, a quick check on the recent history between these two and it was a no brainer to go to bed instead! Villa away next then the Spuds. Two games that do not fill me with confidence.
