49 years ago today our Boleyn boy's of '66 ( with the help of 8 others greats ) beat the West Germans at Wembley..

As the new season started a few weeks later my love for the West Ham has been with me ever since I was that little 4 year old....Up the hammers...

That's when it all started for me also... at least as far as I can remember! :-) Not being a Londoner there HAD to be some reason I started supporting West Ham!! LOL

Fifteen at the time, just got back from a family holiday in the Isle of Wight, mates were off to Wembley, no tickets but managed to get in, god knows how! Just remember feeling so proud to be a Hammers fan and looking forward to the coming season, first game Chelski at home, lost 2 - 1 down to earth rapidly after that.
