Happy birthday Scott ,three times hammer of the year
Sell Diangana and now being reported deal for Brentfords Benrahma deal all but done....Errrr thought we were getting rid of wingers so the party line goes and they are saying this guys a forward...naaa he's a winger so sell one and buy one who cost more...what great business men we have running our club.
so the poor old Premier league wants to charge fans £14 for the privilege of watching other games not aired on sky/bt.......with all due respect F*******************k off and do one....now if they were in the future to introduce a season ticket for each club home and away then you can choose just to follow your own club then by all means yes....but that is not what this is so the billionaire owners can suck it up as they have drained the wallets of most fans year in year out....but of course there will be enough who will do this so they will laugh all the way to the bank
It looks as if Hammers 'hear throb' Felipe Anderson might well be off on loan to Porto, someone's going to miss him, but not sure about how many will. It's strange that someone who was brought up in a really tough environment as a youngster appears to have so little fight in him. It was assumed a brief spell with 'Chicken Kiev' and 'Psycho' would be enough to see him right, but apparently not. David Moyes has managed to work his magic on Authur Masuaku, Aaron Cresswell, Pablo Fornals, Michail Antonio and most of the rest of the first team, perhaps Anderson just isn't receptive to either the 'nice cop' nor 'nasty cop' approach?
No, no, no for once my tongue is nowhere near my cheek when I say regardez the Premier League!
Zut alors, WTF, we have a pattern and situation developing. After the first 4 weeks of games I was mentioning to boogerscaravan Jnr. That in the behind closed doors Charlie Rich world of the Prem. We have a training game mentality coming in.
This has to be to quote the Wealdstone Raider "you've got no fans" element. You have no atmosphere. You have no pressure from the angry mob on the ref. The angry mob are not telling Raheem Sterling he runs like a pansy, or telling Jack Grealish he looks like a girl when he takes a corner.
The result of this is we have some fun and games with the scores. It's been raining goals in the first 4 weeks. All kicking off with the the wheel nickers beating the oop North new boys 4-3. Yesterdays games were beyond comprehension. The championays letting in 7 and Manure shipping 6. Oh how we laughed!!
Indeed the mighty irons have now scored 7 and conceded 0 in the last 2 Premier League games. It now boils down to we'll score more than you.
Fantasy Football really is here and I for one am loving every minute of it right now...........
This has to be one of the most accomplished performances I have seen from West Ham for a while and even tops last weeks rout of Wolves.
Coufal slotted in perfectly, Rice and Soucek winning the midfield duels, Ogbonna keeping Vardy quiet, Cresswell not only laying on our first goal cut out just about every advance down the left, Balbuena never missed a header, Arthur occupying more defenders/midfielders allowing room for his team mates. Bowen, Fornals and Antonio never stopped running whether in attack or tracking back and Fabs with ittel to do never lost concentration, credit to the defence marshalled by Oggie that snuffed out the danger.
3 very good goals (Bowens a real team goal)
Stoic defending, good marking and covering, pace and movement, great team spirit and today football was the winner.
On todays performance a lot of sides won't want to face us.
Oggie my MOTM....superb!
The search for a right back is over. He will even wear the number 5 shirt. I'm hoping at 28 years of age it will prove to be good business. Big mates with Soucek so that will help him settle. Lets see how he gets on!!
I'm putting it out there,a poll for how long Dicksy can keep up his recently broadcasted self exile from the org.....I give it 12.10 pm tomorrow (Saturday) ...thoughts fellow hammers??
Any one know if the everton game is on the tv tonight ,thanks.
so I half jokingly mentioned on another post that our bid for Tarkowski was probably instalments over 20 years. well, turns out our 'bid' for Fofana was ...wait for it......4 mill up front and the rest in instalments! if there were any doubt left that our owners don't really want to sign anyone expensive, this is it. Leicester have stepped in and signed him no fuss.
