Im pretty sure that the general consensus of both west ham fans and tv pundits (leaving aside D H L ),dick head. Laurenson) alike would be that Payet is at present the best player in the prem there for how do we hang on to him and not in the time honoured tradition of west ham let him slip through our fingers ,some one said in a previous post that its only a mater of time till the big boys cuma calling ,my opinion for what its worth is that we have a?one year breathing space ,nobodys going to give up the chance to play in the Q E 2 so depending on how we do there ,that it doesn't go tits up and with a massive sallery increase we might ,just might have this guy for the foreseeable future .
When you see our two best players comming from relativity euro minor leagues it would make you think how many more potential geniuses are out there

burkie he cant be as good as we think he is because if he is we will ship him out..as a long suffering hammer we cannot have none of this passing to feet beating 3/4 players and putting in a defence splitting pass nonsense....next they will say he can score from free kicks and open play tsk tsk not having it I tell you how can he compare to moncs/bishop/pike

you hit it on the nail Burkie, just proves there is talent out there, the big boys pay mega bucks in proven player as it's a quick fix solution ( hence why there after Vardy ) and they haven't got the time to blood them in...We have a couple of players that caught the wave early on and it's a dream ( and refreshing ) to watch after so many disappointing years ...
