so whats going to happen Saturday who will play up front? will Adrian have one of his unbelievable games or a headless chicken one? questions questions questions and slav hopefully has been pondering this over the break because we are going to have to be at our best for this one...spuds will start fast and we had better be on our toes and match them or it could turn into a torrid 90mins...thankfully we will be missing noble so no one in midfield spinning around and disappearing up there own backside!! and of course the mandatory yellow he gets for that lunge tackle he always does and the square ball across the middle that the opposition pounce on(harsh but just saying)...I reckon slav will have kouyate and obiang starting in the middle but with pele injured will he revert to a flat back four?.....one things for certain and we are going to have to be strong and yes I hear the players understand how much this game means to us but don't they realise all the others meant just as much....I hope really hope we put the commitment into the coming games that we did against chelski but on the evidence seen so far this season I honestly doubt that....I hope for a win and can accept a draw but defeat Saturday evening well it just does not bare thinking about. COYI lets show some character

So Spuds on the horizon and a raft of very difficult fixtures in the next few weeks, but to concentrate on the Saturday match I'm very concerned that we will get beaten by what appears to be a very good Spuds (bastards) team. I think that our trouble off the field as well as non performance of certain players and the absolutely stupid moves in the pre-season transfer market has had a detrimental effect on the players and the fans. Saturdays fixture is a real mountain to climb, if all our players play at their best and we can solve the striker problem we may stand a chance. Unfortunately they have something to prove as their form has been so so over the last few games. I must say, very very grudgingly, that they need to be congratulated over the amount of English players in their team. Look at Watford, a small lower table team who boast a total of one English player, no wonder our national team is a joke. Anyway back to Saturday, let's hope for a competitive performance and at the worst a draw, but the underlying problems with the club are concerning, let's not forget that there are many out there who would love us to fall on our arse, please prove all them wrong.

I think you are too harsh on Noble - each match he makes the majority of our passes, blocks and interventions from midfield and holds up and switches play when needed. He is at the centre of everything which is why he does get it wrong every now and then. As for the spin around on the spot, people used to say the same for Scott Parker - its a player looking for the best pass rather than just panicking and lumping it forward or losing possession... will miss his work rate in midfield v Spurs. Obiang does the dirty work too in midfield, but we will miss Nobles holding midfield play
