rumours that we will table a whopping 6 mill bid that will have sunderland chomping at the bit to snatch for their best player by a country mile. yeah right. sounds like we started the silly games again by touting names and making insulting bids. please lets just do our work diligently with no noise this time.

Sunderland wont sell,even for the 14 mill they paid for him imo....hes been vital for them in their recent games where they have picked up points.

He is a natural born goalscorer and will continue to score goals for another 2 seasons, and then even worth being on the bench as in the box he will poach goals. I agree with the guys on here though, why would Sunderland even contemplate selling him in there position? £6m would still be a bargain as these days what does that buy you? Not a proven goalscorer anywhere near Premier League standards!

Agree with ANTKB, we should of proucred his services a couple of seasons ago. £6m is a lot to pay for him now at the age he is, but then again he is scoring goals... I think its just about worth a punt but then good luck prizing him aeay from Sunderland

I agree with ANTIB. Sincerely rather than sign another player like Zaza, Defoe at least some goals realizes
