with the arrival of Zabaletta what does Bilic have in mind? surely he is thinking back 4? not saying i agree but if he's got zabaletta then he can't play a back 3 as antonio gets left out? is he going back to the 4-2-3-1? if so the lone striker comes back to haunt us again. personally id go 3-5-2 using antonio wide and I'm not sure where zabaletta would go now. can't see him going 4-4-2 so whats your thinking on bilic's thinking?

i reckon though he will say its more 433 with the midfield wide players pushing up to create a front 3.....so it will be Antonio one side they hope walcott the other side and again they hope giroud upfront leaving lanzini in the pocket with kouyate/obiang/noble fighting it out over the two remaining midfield positions...but we will have to wait and see i guess.
i think this is right
it will be plan A. Plan B will be sth like Betty's formation.
Zabaletta is our marquee striker

Dont forget masuaku... if he
Dont forget masuaku... if he comes back fully fit at the start of the season and plays like he did before he got injured, Cress will have to step up! He could also play on the wing in attack from what ive seen
Yes, agreed.
in all seriousness there is potentially good competition for that place in the lineup.
Posted on here last season...
If slav picks cress at left back (& "IF" he can produce the form he was in when he first joined),masuaku in front of him, would be a great pairing...imo
