The board with anything. But one thing the board haven't scrimped on is paying managers. I believe Sam was 6th highest paid in Europe and Moyes wages and bonus over 6 months not forgetting his entire backing team was astonishing. Must have been pretty high to have initially tempted Rafa too.

they are between a rock and a hard place. I've consistently said that Sullivan it penny wise and pound poor. If he'd just bone up and spend the money on players in the first place we wouldn't even be having this merry go round. Even Bilic might still be around if Carvalho had been signed.

What baffles me is Sullivan quite often over pays on players and maybe even managers wages, yet won't pay proper transfer fees! If he redressed the balance maybe just maybe we can get somewhere.
