Well this is it all the money has been spent(unless you are a spud lol)players with potential in at every club(unless you are a spud lol)so let the drama that is the premier league unfold...in with an early prediction I expect Cardiff/Huddersfield to def go down and pick one from the following to join them...Newcastle/Southampton/Watford/palace.....top four will stay the top four with one exception that's the spuds!! could not win anything last season with the squad they had so how do they think they will be any better this time around? chelski will be hit and miss the gooners well that's a wait and see so its citeh/poo/manure+one other...as for us I think a respectable 8th or 9th can be achieved and if the squad stays fit(carroll aside)maybe we can shock a few....one things for sure the football will be better to watch and a lot more exciting than the last couple of seasons that is for sure....I wish El Pel and his team all the best I want the players to show just what they can do and most of all for we the fans to create an atmosphere to scare other clubs when they come to play at the White elephant! Poor old Cardiff, every forum
Poor old Cardiff, every forum I have been on they have been included in the teams to get relegated.Think Warnock has got his work cut out to finish above the drop zone.Huddersfield and Brighton are my other teams for the drop.Brighton have brought in 12 players ,none of whom I have heard of,and released 6 players incl our own Sam Baldock to Reading for £5m.They might come good but its a high risk game Hughton is playing. As with most things in life ,you get what you pay for ,and none of these purchases cost much.Huddesfield are another club that have brought in numbers on the cheap,9 players ,again nobody I have heard of ,and released 7 players incl Tom Ince to Stoke for £12m .I think Burnley will struggle this season, punched well above their weight last season, only bringing in Ben Gibson from Middlesbro for £15m and Joe Hart for £3m,releasing a whopping 14 players.Sean Dyche said it has been the hardest window he has experienced ,I think that tells you something.Spurs, haven't seen any transfer activity whatsoever, cant see them inproving their position from last season.Chelsea have made a few good signings in Kovacic, the goalie kepa, and Jorginho,Arsenal made a few good signings ,like Torreira from Uruguay. Can see a few surprise teams this season ,Westham,Everton,Fulham,Wolves,Leicester,Westham to finish between 6th-9th
Having a chat with my son at work
The other day & we were talking about the same thing - "who do you reckon will get relegated??" both of us came up with Huddersfield & Cardiff,I added Southampton he added Brighton....As for the mighty Hammers we should get at least top 10 but ive said that before!!
Reality bites hard
With the squad assembled and if they can stay fit I think we can push for 7th spot but it will be ultra competitive especially with the likes of everton/wolves/Leicester splashing the cash and the latter keeping a key player out of man utds clutches.Although being west ham you can never bank on anything I think we will for once not be looking over our shoulders and worrying about relegation this season,so lets hope for a team that excites us takes others apart and plays without fear.
That's how I see it Mac.
That's how I see it Mac. Sounds realistic to me.
excited above the first game

Welcome zan, this forum has
Welcome zan, this forum has quite a few Aussie living hammers. Quite why I have no idea. Must admit this game doesn't fill me with joy. One of the worst we could have drawn early days, so for me the season may have to start a game later. Itl be great to get something but it won't change anything for me even if we get battered. It's gona be an interesting season as I think we as a team will be an untapped force on way or another.

The reason is because its such a great site. Others have far too many know it all types and once you say something against their grain yer out...the Org is a place where you say what you're thinking and mostly won't get shot down for it...
As for tonight's game I think there are so many unknowns. It's gonna be difficult to bet against us nicking a win or a draw. If we lose it will be a case of Peroni's to one of the scouse dad's at my daughter's school. win or draw and its happy days

The top six will remain the top six with City top followed by Liverpool then Tottenham. ManU maybe outside the top four. Cardiff, Huddersfield and Newcastle to go down . I reckon we should finish comfortably in the top ten this year. Wolves to be the surprise team this season.
