Personally i would take him and Cairney from Fulham as it would boost our options in the middle of the park and we would not be struggling like we have been with injuries and with Lanzini back and Nasri there as well it adds competition to the team...on another note that maxi gomez deal we were allegedly interested in at £45million well thats gone way of the dinosaur as i have seen this morning that Suarez has recommended him to Liverpool....

Correct. The guy has a great sense of humour. I think hes a decent player and at the right price would be a great squad member.

Not for me ,he's much to direct anyway he's out of favour at the Toon and as such is surplus to requirements, far to much dosh on a player we don't really need ,when a mediocre player from a mediocre club falls down the peckin order it usually means he's ready for the chumps

I'd take Cairney Lionel Ritchie style..................................(All night long). As for Shelvey I'd send him off to sing with the Von Trapp family over the hills and far away...!! Ask yer Grandad kids...!!
