I guess like me you are getting a bit feed up with the lockdown and started looking for something to watch on the box.

I recently came across this :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GyOYCaXtqng

Its better to watch on the TV with Amazon Prime. It could be seen by the younger supporters as a bit twee, its just chat with rather odd cartoon characters. It focuses on the late 70's and the cup win in 1980. As someone who just past 60 this was a great period for me. I thought we played some of the best football and the two years in the old 2nd Div were not really an issue. We held onto Bonds and Brooking and made some brilliant signings notably Phsycho, Dev, Pancho, the most expensive goalkeeper in the world at that time, Parks and the most expensive teenager ever, Tonka...all this to a club in the second league! On that basis alone you see why todays West Ham fans feels our club has lost its ambition. Take the time to watch it, brought back some very special memories!

Stay well everyone, stay safe... we are Moore than

Oh yes Dartford, wonderful times the 70s,the music the girls, the lot,if you had DM boots and a bike with cow horn handlebars you were the boy.......then obviously the the team with billy bonds, sir trev, lampard senior etc players that played every week, great days.

Talking about the players of that era obviously Bonds brooking etc...but how under estimated was Alan Devonshire? Always remember him especially under the lights, soon as he started on a run the whole ground would erupt!!

Never under estimated him, I loved the guy and he EASILY makes my top five all time West Ham list. Why? Game changer and not many players can say that! Pick the ball up from Parks left edge of the box, one two with Brooking and Pike and in a blink he was inline with the opposition pen area... did it week after week!

I met him a couple of years ago at one of these "Evening with" set ups. I told him I loved him so much we named the cat after him!
