This has to be one of the most accomplished performances I have seen from West Ham for a while and even tops last weeks rout of Wolves.
Coufal slotted in perfectly, Rice and Soucek winning the midfield duels, Ogbonna keeping Vardy quiet, Cresswell not only laying on our first goal cut out just about every advance down the left, Balbuena never missed a header, Arthur occupying more defenders/midfielders allowing room for his team mates. Bowen, Fornals and Antonio never stopped running whether in attack or tracking back and Fabs with ittel to do never lost concentration, credit to the defence marshalled by Oggie that snuffed out the danger.
3 very good goals (Bowens a real team goal)
Stoic defending, good marking and covering, pace and movement, great team spirit and today football was the winner.
On todays performance a lot of sides won't want to face us.
Oggie my MOTM....superb!

Havnt seen a performance like that for donkey years, ant, oggy, rice everyone played their part but for me I love the energy of Bowen, always trying to make things happen, pops up with goals too imo he is the epitome of a player us fans want to see in the claret & blue

I agree,it was a pleasure to watch,i havent felt like that since the move to the BOM,together i think the coaching team have a tuned squad,in my opinion it shows even more now how far away anderson and haller are from playing in this side.

That has to be the best defensive debut since Bilic arrived and slotted in against spuds....But every player today played brilliantly and to not give Vardy a chance all match and Fab just a spectator well we will all sleep well tonight and Monday morning will be something to look forward to for once!

Fornals still a bit lightweight in the tackle but he was my MOM. He never stopped running and his touch to control the ball out of the sky would have had the sky sports team creaming over each other if it was Salah, or one of their fave top6 team players. Thought he'd overrun it close to goal but a great finish too at the near post. Antonio is scaring good centre back partnerships to death and has added goals to his repertoire thankfully. I would only give Fabianski a 5 only as he had FA to do all game! Coufal slotted in great, solid defending and no rushed panicked passes that are often the hallmark of a WH defender. Hopefully he keeps it up. Can't wait to face the Spuds next

Joking aside, Moyes' absence has been interesting, using 'Pearce & Lurve' as a spotter from the upper tiers seems to work very well. perhaps they will continue to use the same technique when Moyes is back in attendance
