You all know what i mean by that......Haller i was willing to give him a go but his performances are so ineffective i cannot see the point as to picking him and Moyes must make a change.....if he wants to keep Bowen and Fornals wide then Benrahma must play through the middle as the striker but i would prefer Bowen in that role have Fornals switch sides and have Benrahma play down the left...but whatever Moyes decides he knows Haller is not the answer and he needs strikers big time...The shot of Gold sitting in the stand after the match i am sure even he sees the need to open the coffers whether he likes it or not and he has to back Moyes.

I dont like slagging any westham player off,if theyre crap you accept it weve had hundreds over the years, but if they come with a big reputation & are crap they deserve the stick!!last one I found almost as frustrating as le Sulk was faubert, surprised I didnt get thrown out of the Boleyn at times he angered me so much with his performances....back to Haller, what's the point? You know what you are going to get so why bother? There is another well known site that I look up & there are still some westham fans who actually think he plays well?either my eyesight is going & I've missed something but all I see is someone nowhere near prem standard

Thats exactly what you see mate, and i see the same,he is hopeless,i dont care about the overhead kick, big deal,he didnt do any work for it,it was crossed,as if he had had to he wouldnt of scored, everytime you see him in starting line up,we know we are handicapped from the start. You could put any player down the centre and they would do better,he cannot hold the ball, dribble or even run,if the ball does come his way,he immediately loses it or falls over, there is reason why he is getting picked, and only moyes will know.

So what your saying is..... haller scored from one of the only decent crosses in the game? Didn't do any work for it? Have you seen man city at there best? How many goals does sterling have where he "didnt do any work" yet gets a nice easy tap in from KDB putting a perfect ball in.

Not from the only cross of the game but one of them, you cannot compare anyone in man city to haller, hes not fit to polish their boots.

If he was that good fred,he wouldnt be with us he would be with Man City!!! Dont you think their scouting system run the slide rule over every available player throughout the world, and they could have their pick......They ran the slide rule over haller and found him on his back, fell over again lol.

Mate.. we are so on the same page, Faupar in my mind was not only the worst player ever to play for Real Madrid but also for us!

I do hope le Sulk does improve but I’m not holding my breath.. merry Christmas!!

I thought he did ok last night with the support and service that he had, playing Noble in that advanced position was a strange one, think west ham showed them too much respect by doing that, Benrahma or Yarmalenko would've been a better choice for me.
Worst player was Cresswell for me, i think we need better in that position

You are entitled to your view Dave but ive got to say your the only one ive heard defending him ,ive said it all along i think there should be some sore of club enquire into the whole Haller transfer affair ,i think there must have been back handers and bungs ,44 million is an outrageous for such a useless player ,its simply unjustifiable, and one more thing ,Moyes will keep playing him when Ant isnt available, he's your stereotypical British manager ,ala big Sam ,they dont really give a toss about strikers ,only defender's register with them ,im afraid ive lost confidence in Moyes ,its shocking he keeps playing this fraud week after week knowing how useless he is

He definitely doesn't fit into the team, i can't deny that, he's not quick and he's not mobile enough for the system west ham play, they defintely need decent back up in the same mould as Antonio or someone better and less injury prone than Antonio. I thought as the game went on he did ok last night, bearing in mind the centre backs he was up against.
I think there are other issues in the team as well though mate, if Rice goes then that'll make a huge difference, i think with a back four we look like conceding, and of course we need to look like scoring, we don't have enough quality in the final third in my opinion.

you should mention big sam and strikers burkie i understand he wants to sign andy Carrol .Moyes has got to try some one else up front he does have experience in making strikers out of midfielders and the time has come to act as last nights game was embarrassing for haller that first half chance he got he was so slow and the ball taken from him like candy from a baby and then the other week he falls over as he is about to score in the 6yd box ,every team knows that chelsea lack height in their defence he failed time and time again to make an impression, time to call for a Taxi for Haller please

Then he has to change formation and put Bowen or Benrahma alongside him because the one and only time he looked worth the money was away at Southampton when he was playing with Antonio he was making runs passing the ball well he just looked so much more comfortable but being the lone target man he falls well short of the mark.........try and offload him and invest in Ivan Toney this Lads maturing fast and looked the business in league one taken to the Championship like a duck to water and i think fits the bill of a big strong front man that Moyes likes....Hugill i already hear the cries and he is a decent Championship player but this Toney mark my words is a different kettle of fish all together.

Perhaps instead of blaming haller for being ineffective. We should blame the recruitment for buying a player who played his best football in a 2 up front system and expect him to play the lone striker role? If you want to take it one step further frankfurt fans said when we bought him that he would be poor as a lone striker but was also the reason Jovic looked so good. As Dave said, does haller fit the system we play? No. Is he a bad player? No.

I watched him in depth yesterday v Brighton. One of the worst efforts I've seen in a West Ham Shirt in my 52 years of supporting this club. Lumbering around half hearted effort at closing down the opposition defenders. I cant say pressing as that's taking it to far. Not winning one arial battle and ending up on his arse everytime he jumped. Constantly holding out his arms with a complaining gesture. 41 million or whatever it was, for a 6ft 4 centre forward. Surely he's made his last start for us now. Even players were not passing to him in the end. They must all know he's a liability, a powder puff footballer - disgusting earning money under false pretences!!
