So here we are faced with that what is Moyes going to do? because of Arthurs injury his preferred formation is buggered so we have a flat back four so will he choose say Fredericks and Johnson and Diop to start at what on paper looks the easiest of the 3 fixtures(given our record against Brighton thats never a given!)or do you as i feel start with your strongest side win the game in front of you and then assess the fitness of players because Saints and Toffees away in 3 days is certainly going to test the fitness of our squad and considering Everton will have had the whole week to rest the strain and the legs deffo going to be showing in that one.
Having little cover it is going to take some juggling by Moyes and his team to get sides out that can compete through what will be the obvious fatigue and miss him as much as we do i hope Moyes is not tempted to throw in what will clearly be a non match fit Antonio because we saw how poor he played last time we tried that.....so a difficult week ahead for us and if we get five points from those games it will be a very good achievment...COYI

Lanzini for Haller from the start imo with benny & bowen that's a good attacking option.Rice, souschef noble/snoddy,cress general, tefal oggy....old fashioned 433 but playing le sulk as striker does not work

Yarmo & Fornals,so we have plenty of options though I bet Moyes starts Haller, cue depressing match day!

Why is he starting Mark Noble, especially in that position, mind boggling!!.
For me Benrahma has to start and Yarmalenko has to be used more, Bowen for all his energy lacks composure at times and Yarmalenko can score goals, i would've thought today would've been the ideal game to start them.
Johnson had a good debut, took the goal really well too.

But anyone can see now he just isnt first choice, bowen probably had his worst game for us today but I feel with lanzini & benny alongside him today we would have been a real threat

why else keep Forcandles Benrahma out of the starting 11 for Noble and Haller.....Lanzini and Yarma injected so much more energy into the side and made us look a threat....maybe Moyes trying to show Gold n co look we need better players in in January and upfront very quickly...Noble has to be resigned to the bench at the very least he knows he cannot do it at that level anymore...10/20mins max as a sub nowadays

Surely Brighton were the team to play your strongest side available?bit of a bogey side of late but I thought they were the poorest Brighton side weve ever played.absolutely there for the taking

Played 3 games in 5 days back in '86. Won all 3 and didn't have a squad to rotate. And if I were being paid 100k a week I certainly wouldn't be moaning about it either.

Players nowadays have plenty of excuses to not be fit or ready for two/three games in a week just listen to Klopp and co for that....should play your best players week in week out but those days are long gone now
