One by one little records are being broken by a West Ham side that has been rejeuvinated by a rejeuvinated David Moyes. The Hammers manager looks like an entirely different person now from the cadava like image of 'ghostliness' that first turned up at the London Stadium, the 57 year old Scot has the air about him of someone who knows exactly what he is trying to achieve and precisely where he is trying to take his players.
Having benefitted from the remarkable performances of new arrivals Tomas Soucek, Vladimir Coufal, Jarrod Bowen and more recently Said Benrahma, Moyes is pushing on with trying to build the team according to a similar blue print to that he used when he managed and sustained Everton on a shoe stringed budget.
Apart from inspired recruitment, one of the key areas Moyes has worked on is 'team ethic', where no one is bigger than the rest of the team and everyone works for each other, it is therefore unsurprising to see the 'zip' in the team's step following the departure of 'Le Sulk' to Ajax. It is as if lead has been removed from the player's boots, as everyone seems at least a yard faster, there is a genuine buzz about the team's potential that is founded on a solid defence that belies the flaky hammers moniker.
Team spirit is what Moyes has been trying to invoke, and it looks as if he has achieved just that judging by the affection there is among the squad, there are no bad apples! It seems quite extraordinary to consider that less than one year ago the squad included Jack Wilshere, Sebastien Haller and of course Roberto!
Next up is the visit of Big Sam's Baggies, he will be doing his upmost to put one over on David Moyes and will have prepped his team accordingly, however at the Org we were discussing what 'insider' knowledge Allardyce would have at his disposal, how many players would he know properly?
The answer is NOT many, of the current first team, only Aaron Cresswell has played under Sam and as such the Baggies manager will be relying on 'agent' Snodgrass to give him the inside info, and you can probably bet your house on the very likeable Scot scoring against his former club.
The games come thick and fast from now on, with challenging games against Doncaster in the FA Cup on Saturday swiftly followed by the Barclays Premier League fixture away to Palace only three days later, but judging by our NOT socially distanced image, the team are United, they are 'The Better United'. - Ed

Totally agree Nev
Its actually enjoyable watching westham these days & as you say definitely a spring in their step since the unmentionable has gone! Got a winning mentality at the moment & good luck to snoddy, liked the bloke but I predict he will be on the losing side tomorrow
Enjoyable????
Are you watching the same games as me? Greenwood and Lyall must be tossing in their graves.
I bet you'll enjoy
Watching your old muckers team tonight deluded!!
Think WBA
Are too far gone . The team Bilic has left is poor just like the shambles he left behind at West Ham. Saw their game against Wolves so expecting a tough game still. Surprised at our line up tbh.

Oh yes, there is certainly a big difference in this team, and definitely more zip, confidence and togetherness, since that haller bloke has pleasingly departed.I also agree that Moyes is much more of himself, like he was at Everton, probably he has layed it on the line,to the hierarcy this time, that it is his way or he wouldnt come back,as with the incident telling Brady where to go when she tried to intrude in the dressing room.He did well at Everton, and i feel he is doing this, and what he knows best with us,the proof is there,we are seeing it each week, not conceding goals,in a very solid team.Im sure we are going to do well under Moyes this time around, the icing on the cake for me will be when we can get back and watch it in person, and absorb the atmosphere,as this is what the BOM needs.
Great post Essex
Moyes is putting his own stamp on his side now, saved us from relegation twice & now wants success...i wouldnt bet against it & I reckon your right mate said to the dildos i run things my way, which is great cos theyve been very quiet even bonus seems as though she hasnt mentioned much not that I read her tacky column
I really think so mate,when
I really think so mate, when pellegrini left,we were in a shit pit,if they got the wrong man in,we would of definitely gone down, yes they have gone very quiet, and bloody good job too, especially Lady Brady,i dont read her crap either.
Agree with ALL...
I'm not sure I can remember a more harmonious squad mentality than we have at the moment.
David Moyes has also, finally managed to put a ring through the collective nose of GSB with order finally having been restored to this club. As a prime example, I watched a post-match interview with Pablo Fornals on the official website and that interview told me absolutely everything I needed to know about the team ethic at this club right now. I simply cannot praise Pablo highly enough because that guy leaves EVERYTHING on the pitch for the cause, he is doing a job that he NEVER came to this club to do.... but he has gone about his job in such a dedicated and selfless way, that I can't help but admire him for. He is basically an unsung hero and when you contrast what he has DONE, compared to what Haller WASN'T prepared to do...... no more words are required. There is masses more to come from Fornals (ability-wise).
Moyes has got so much right at this club, that it would be criminal to criticise him in any way shape or form....and then there is the backroom team that he has assembled....Unbelievable!
Breaking News...... The EGO Wilshere has crash-landed at Bournemouth. Not the step up from us as promised by Jack!
Me too
Go with that Green st,forkhandles had his best game v Burnley & is getting better all the time,he busts a gut every time
Confidence breeds confidence.
Confidence breeds confidence.
Well said Green Street.
Well said Green Street,i will go with that.
Said Benrahma
For me, the fly in the ointment is clearly relationship between bugeyes and Benny. IMO took him off far too early and the look on the face said it all! Worried of Dartford!
I hope not mate,i feel Benny
I hope not mate,i feel Benny is full of promise he has alot to offer,i hope he scores soon,do him the world of good.
agree Essex, this boy has got
agree Essex, this boy has got lots of potential and just desparate to get his first goal... and for that to happen he has to be on the pitch!
Agree Dartford
He did take benny off to early, but maybe hes keeping him on his toes! Benny is defo getting better.
could be 65, I hope this type
could be 65, I hope this type of motivation works... not really convinced. Moyes can play Haller week in a week out yet this lad has had few chances. Would love to see him and Bowen lead the attack against Donny Rovers, its that type of game to experiment!
Good idea that Dartford.
