Please can someone explain to me the new offside rule ,cos i cant make head nore tail of it ,seems to me as if it was bought in to justify var ,sometimes they put up the flag sometimes they dont ,only when the goal goes in what was wrong with the old way ?your offside when your offside

total balls up if your not interfering with play then you shouldn't be on the pitch if you are standing in an of side position than the lino should put up his flag to warn the ref and you can only be off side if you are more than half a torso infront of the last defender there you go burkie clear as mud ........none of this first faze 2nd faze nonsense and off side by a big toe or knee cap stuff and nonsense...... rant over

If they're gonna utilise VAR then don't confuse the issue with using linesmen/judges/ass refs/umps!
Let the play continue and then review. If any part of your foot is over inc big toe, then you're off-side. If it's your head, chest, arm or knee then you're on and reacted that bit quicker than the defender.

Dragging it out of the gutter for a moment, I will say this for the offside thing. I don't know if anybody has noticed. But the VAR useage in these Euros is very fast. No poncing about, like we have in the Premier League.
Never thought I'd say this an an anti VARist. But it's pretty damn good........
