What a shame this lad is 24 a Welsh International and a regular in my fantasy football team before relegation. Diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkinsons Lymphoma cancer. I hope he beats it.....
in my line of work i come across all kinds of people suffering with some of the worst things you can imagine young and old and it makes you grateful for your own health.....best compliment i ever have gotten from those various people is the fact i still treat them as a person and if they are being a bit of a plonker i tell them and they are so happy to be treated as a normal person and not the disease/affliction they are suffering from.
It really is 65 mate ,one of my best mate's is in the later stages as well, same age as me ,70, we went through so much specially in the last 30 or 40 years ,a few pints and a bit of a sing song !!!, why does it take so much tragedy to make you look back and realise how happy you were
Humour is the best medicine, just shows how strong some people are,she doesn't want us upset & would rather we treat her normal & just have a laugh! The tears are in private! But like Mac says it really makes you think that sometimes we worry about trivial things! Family, friends & your health are the most important things
