Lingard response is deafening!!!!!! He's obviously waiting for a better offer elsewhere.......

29 years old that means in less than a year he'll be 30..(You have to get up early in the morning to beat me on maths).

So if wages are sensible, maybe it's good business after all. Still a big time Charlie though.

I have wrote alot lately about this fella,and i know what you mean boogers,but its not as though we dont know anything about him,he still has alot to offer,and we could still get a good few years out of him,with only his wages to fork out on.

manure contract runs out on 1st july ,so he is still a manure player till then,but have made an offer

He had a magic moment on loan but he also had a number of duff games to....i would go for someone younger with a bit of fire in his belly not a greedy so and so who already has more money than he would ever need.

and again if the board are stupid enough to sanction such a contract that he wants then the lessons of Ljunberg/Carroll/Wheelchair etc have never been learned.

Another 2 weeks gone by and still no sign of the return of the Lingard, perhaps someone should contact missing persons, last seen in a big coat and tracksuit sat on a bench in old Trafford football ground, sometimes answers to the name of ‘you’re on for the last 5’

Who WOULDN'T hang out for the best possible deal in what could be their last negotiable position. He allegedly wants 150k a week which works out on a five year contract to be £39 million plus the inevitable "agents fees" and signing on. Seems quite reasonable to me for a proven Premier League and England International player.

Yes I understand that he wants the best deal but this is a player that’s barely played any football for 2 seasons and now he’s missing most of this pre season, you’d think he’d be chomping at the bit to be playing, particularly with a World Cup coming up as well, probably his last hope of playing in one too

Said it before,he's hardly played,goes on loan to Westham absolutely loves it & now dithers over signing permanently! Let him go to the states,that will do his world Cup aspirations a power of good!!

Tell you what Mac,if thats the case he can stay there,i certainly dont want us held to ransom,i have wrote plenty about this bloke,and do feel also if he wanted to he would be training with us now,he thinks hes bigger than us.

That he has or is signing for Notts Forest.I think as talented as he may be the amount of money he was asking for was rather to much and i for one will praise the club for seeing sense and not buckling to one mans demands no matter the talent
