Just how long does it take to sign a player? yes i understand it is not like going to buy a new car but come on how long? look at villa they have identified who they want and got them already same as the bindippers so if they can do it why can't we?.

Nayef Aguerd allegedly been in talks and close to signing and yet nothing appears to of happened why?you hear the excuses like the transfer windows not open yet the players still under contract until end of June etc etc......well those are just technicallities you cannot tell me that footballers there agents and managers at clubs not already ironed out those creases ready to make the deal so all sides happy from the selling club to the buying club and the player.

We always seem to be treading water and yes whilst the seasons only been over a week if you stand still for a moment is this game your opponents will steal things right from under your nose so come on lets be a bit more lively.

Barcelona been wanting to get rid of this player for a good long while and now they prepared to get him loaned out in order to move him on....I so hope this does not catch the eye of Moyes and Newman as he is bang average and only reason he got the move to Barcelona in the first place was because they were cash strapped and needed a body in and they went to Middlesborough to get him says it all doesn't it.

£25million is all Moyes prepared to pay for a Backup striker as he sees Antonio as the man to lead the line for another season and he wants to use what money he has on other more urgent areas in the team.

Talk about sending out the wrong signal....for one its basically say to Antonio i dont care how rubbish you are playing you start no matter what how can that be good for the team and why would any player sign for us if thats the case? Competition is what the squad needs and it showed the lack of it especially in the Brighton game...No player and i include Rice in this can or should see there place in the team as untouchable it leads to laziness and the kind of performance you get against Brighton.

I do hope this is all rubbish but i do not like what i am hearing and for a squad as small as ours we do need to have a massive summer or Moyes who purports to being a winner(nothing in his career yet)will be looked upon as a joke.

West Ham need to replace Antonio as a striker, he’s not clinical enough, he blows hot and cold and also physically I don’t think he can last a full season, jetting off to play for Jamaica didn’t help him much either I don’t think. I have also noticed this season he goes to ground too easy and bemoans the ref, he’s probably the biggest unit in the Premiership ffs! I would replace him and use him as an impact sub and for some of the cup games

Moyes head in the clouds thinking Ward-Prowse....Nunez....Lingard.....turns down Bissouma who is available at a bargain price and guess what he now says that this defender Aguerd is going to be our "Marquis" signing lol how long has this deal been taking to do? spuds signing players for fun while we just drag our feet....someone is telling porkies about how much we have to spend and backing the manager to the hilt......still look on the brightside if Moyes decides to walk we have a tailor made replacement in Southgate! another "winner" lol......groundhog day anyone?

Just read that Newcastle are trying to hijack the deal for Aguerd, that’s another problem with not getting transfers sorted quickly!

only this time the Hare may win!...it is farcical that in a dog eat dog world that is the transfer market we drag our feet and now it could cost us....if it does who is to blame? the club for dragging out the deal Moyes for dithering...or the player who thinks Fu*k the conference i can get an extra £30thousand a week....the word Amateurish comes to mind.....if we do miss out expect all the usual Smoke and mirror answers.

But the point is they seem to be run so much better than us as a club. They were in crisis last season with the Kane thing and the Portugese manager whose name escapes me now yet they acted got Conte in splashed cash somehow got into Champions league because the gooners were not good enough and Moyes to stubborn to realise he had flogged a dead horse as far as it could go and now look at them making deals here there and everywhere but we just sit on our bums twiddling our thumbs waiting for Lingard.
£60 million for Richarlison does make me laugh as we all know if you wanted a diver Tom Daley would of been cheaper

Well said Hammergirl,my sentiments entirely, they always come up with the goods when needed, its Levy,he knows what he is doing, the way our club is run shows and thats why we struggle to get anyone any good, they invest wisely,i also agree Richarlison isnt worth that...........I know i keep banging the Lingard drum, but is he in hiding, taken a vow of silence,he now dosent have a club,if he dosent come to us,he will get the biggest booing and going over when he does get to play against us.

Whats with the Spudz love in?

Careful HG and Essex.... :o)

In my mind they still have under achieved, won nothing and have the annual Kane is he or isnt he leaving which just goes to show they are not a big club.

Past transfer windows have also proved poor, chasing any player remotely linked to the End London Massive.

As for Richarlison, sulky twat and bang average at Watford and Everton IMO. Lets see how he fits in and effect on changing room.

Forest making deals barcodes rumoured big time to want Broja now and a fights on with Palace to sign McNeil from Burnley why bother we can't compete with clubs of Palaces stature!.
So fed up now with seemingly everyone else getting busy yet all we get is Lingard Lingard Lingard ffs and Danjuma depending on who you believe Gold wnts to sign Moyes not having him....why is our club run like a bloody circus.....we need so many bodies in and the season just a month away WTF is going on

But ffs if Moyes and his team do not pull there finger out we are going to have a season like Everton IMO the squad was thin as it was now look at it and do we see any progress transfer wise?....when the shit hits the fan after the window closes and if we start badly then i am afraid Moyes will be the one to blame...he says he has the backing and the money so if he buggers it up his necks on the block.....only we can have great back to back seasons yet flounder in the transfer market....let me make it clear i am not bothered about Marquis signings or big time charlies all i want is for Moyes to be more proactive out there get the players in who want to play who are not all about the contract but just want to perform on the pitch and show how good they are....Haller £50million Dawson £2million it shows it is not the money its the mental side and right now moyes is driving me mental like a lot of other fans!

People say don't panic, plenty of time, but its only a month to the kick off! Like you say mate quality is available for fair prices.

I agree mac cant push Palace aside,it says something when the likes of them seem more attractive to play for than us,i cant see us getting any class,we will struggle next season.

At the Ricarlison hatred as Id've taken him at West Ham like a shot. You people who worry about his diving need to look at the more important stats such as goalscoring record, assists, penalty conversion rate, penalties won etc. And all this at a struggling team and only a puppy at 25 years of age. I'm very concerned at what a line up of Ricarlison, Son and Kane are going to look like so I guess the hatred will reach a much higher magnitude this season. Meanwhile Arsenal have nabbed Gabriel Jesus, whose stats are on a comparable level. And we're persisting with Jesse Lingard, 20 goals in 149 Utd appearances. God help us if Broja is a genuine target because his track record makes Hallers look World Class

Haller is the worst player ever to wear Claret and Blue, you ain't been following West Ham for long.

Haller Haller Haller, what a player, hopeless,we have had bad players, but this bloke couldnt stand up for one thing, fell over when when the wind got up,and never tried, put no effort in,our other bad players did run and give it some, but this bloke.......Useless.

Benny McCarthy, Maiga, Mido, John Radford, Savio Nsereko, Carlton Cole as worse than Haller in Claret and Blue and that's without going into goalkeepers such as Roberto, defenders and midfielders. As for Haller's scoring feats at other clubs, well done. You've noted he is a prolific goalscorer

up

Haller is a very good goal scorer in the right set up, he was never going to suit Moyes, he only wants a workhorse like Antonio whose second touch is a tackle, I said at the time West Ham had him that Haller is a good player, can’t blame him for not looking great in that West Ham side

You have got to laugh! Did you or deluded ever watch him in a Westham shirt ffs...I despair

Of those live & everyone of those were better than Haller! Well done also to you, you've proved what I thought all along that your not interested in what goes on at our club

So have i 65,i cannot see how Carlton Cole can be put in a lower bracket than Haller,no way,its a shame he wasnt prolific for us,what he has done at other clubs is no benefit to us.

Haller better at Westham than Carlton! The rest were poor there's no doubt about it but I stand by my opinion Le Sulk is the worst player to have ever worn the shirt & I've watched some dross at our club over 5 decades or so but I've never felt like putting my foot through the telly as I did with Haller !!

I mentioned Carlton Cole ( who should be arrested under the trade descriptions act as a so called striker) purely because I knew (certain) people would bite. Putting that aside for the moment, his goals per game ratio are on a par with Hallers. And Cole got away with the charade fore nine abysmal years. So if Haller is sh*t............

If Haller was so good, why didnt the likes of City,Liverpool or Chelsea come calling,as they could of provided him with all the assists he needed, and depth of squad to adjust,no they didnt come calling did they,as they could see that the assistance he needed was crutches to stand up,and a sign pointing goalwards........Useless.

Hence the bid for Scammacca...6ft 5 tall very right footed but hey if this is a sign at last that Moyes is not going to hang around for Broja fair play to him and the club....now if he can just get past his Lingard love in who knows what will happen this season to come
