Goodness me i am a busy girl this morning waiting for my train yeah i know you have to laugh!.
So is he a winner? he says he is but personally although he is a good manager and knows what he wants i do not think he is a winner because he is to cautious and winners are never that winners have a bit of JE NE SAIS QUOI(sorry Burkie use google to translate for you xx) something sadly he can never possess.
So a winner as in silverware etc i'm sorry but this girl just does not see it.

I think he would be a winner but isnt given free flowing funds,to be at the top you need to keep adjusting bringing in players expanding and strengthening the squad,it was the same when he was at Everton, make do and mend, you dont progress like that.

The only way you can be winners in the modern game is if you're prepared to splash the cash all the time!

That if any manager gets sacked, he's not a success? Irrespective of trophies won?

Are you saying that van gaal & moanrinho would have done a better job than moyes at Westham?

Both got sacked so hardly a success, then in the next post saying you're not saying that. I can't debate something with someone who contradicts themselves. As for Mourinho and Van Gaal at West Ham it's a hypothetical question so would have no basis for factual debate. Especially against someone who backtracks on their original statements.

Yes they won trophies, but that lots expectation is winning the prem, champions league etc.....not the league Cup,europa or f.a Cup,don't forget under Ferguson they won everything. They havnt had a successful manager since, which I'm glad about.Moyes wasn't give enough time there imo compared to the rest so we will never know if he would have been a success! Moyes is not my favourite manager,he has his faults, but he's done wonders at Westham - 6th & 7th
In 2 seasons....so imo van gaal & moaner wernt a success, you can debate with me as much as you like mate it's all about opinions on here

Spot on Essex and thats why he's perfect for us. We are not a Big Money club so this type of management suits West Ham. We we be in contention again for the Everton Cup (7th).

No manager will say they are just average etc but until he changes a little i do not see silverware in the foreseeable future....be a little less stubborn that can change but those of us his age or above rarely change our spots.

Sorry Moyes is not a Winner, he maybe a very good coach, his statement 'I win games'. Nope, the team you pick wins games, you get to cup finals and win domestic trophies. You have a plan to win games and when you're losing you change the team in order for you to grab a win from the jaws of defeat. I don't doubt his ability as a coach, I just doubt his ability to change games with being say 2-1 down in a quarter final, and we're playing about in our half passing side to side back to the keeper. A winner would push forward, not pull everyone back to defend so as soon as you may get possession there's nobody further up field to carry the ball forward.

He might not be a winner, but he's got us to 6th & 7th In the prem, who would you rather have in his place Allerdyce?
