I just can't understand how West Ham can be playing Monday when we have a European game Thursday. We had a break from the norm with a Wednesday fixture so surely we could have played Saturday or Sunday giving the players a bit more recovery time. Just don't make sense to me.

Apparently WH have had the most Premier League games on a Monday out of everyone. Considering we've had 2 relegations in that time too, that is some stat. There's no fair balancing in this league. If you're not one of the Sky 6 you're treated like something needing to be scraped from the bottom of your shoes.
