kick off drop back to ten yards outside your own penalty box and pass back and forth between defender and Gk and sometimes hit a long ball and hope one of our players gets onto it......if the midfoeld get it first job turn sideways and pass back...nobody prepared to run with the ball nobody prepared to take on a player.....Scamacca now seeing what Haller had to deal with....we are ponderous on the ball clueless in attack..Palace not scored a goal in second half away from home yet they passed and moved so much better than than our players why? and they deserved the points like it or not its the truth...if you are happy with how we are playing thats fine but really we are going to struggle and if you think it is because players saving themselves for the world cup i think that is naive....simple fact is we have very good players but a manager who does not no how to play a match on the front foot.....and as for the how good we were against manure last week well we played ok for 13 mins but again when we were a goal behind.......this season will be long and seeing how Leicester beat Everton i doubt playing us will be a big problem for them.

I think you are the naive one. You making out that Moyes wants to play crap football and drop points. Here's an idea, maybe just maybe Moyes is trying to get the players to win games...but they aren't playing well? Suppose that doesn't fit with your naive belief that managers deliberately tell players to play poorly. We lost. We shudve drawn. Antonio fluffed his lines n they break n score a deflected winner. That's tough. That's the margins at this level. Managing a club is a long term job. There will be good patches and poor ones. We can get rid of Moyes and start over sure. Then after 10 games we can get rid again and start over. Or we can stick with experience, with someone who has been in prem management for 15 plus seasons. Who's taken us into Europe and proved better than likes of bilic and pellegrini.

We do not look like a top ten side. We should be beating sides like this, but yet again I got the impression that a we were settling for a draw.

Very poor performance against a mid table team. Cannot see how we can finish in the top 4, 5, 6, 7 or 10. Scammaca looked isolated all along and that role can only fit Antonio at best. Bowen was awful and this is the worst I have seen of him. He should have been withdrawn and not Benhrama. But why Lanzini when Fornals has the pace. Even bring in Coventry who did really well in midweek. That second string midweek team was far more fluid and moved the ball so well. They could have given Crystal Palace a run for their money as compared to the deadwood that I noticed on the pitch. Even Rice had very little influence in midfield. The defence looked a lot better with Aguerd and Ogbonna as compared to Zouma and Dawson, although Zouma was more reliable. So when is Aguerd going to replace Dawson as it might have been a different scenario with him on the pitch!!

I really dont get it , we have at last a smashing squad with loads of talented players and we put in performances like this it aint good enough guys ,it looks like all opposing teams have to do is step up their game against us ,close us down in every corner of the pitch and that seems to be enough to sniffle us ,new blood is required and not on the field ,it was remarked by the comentator today that Moyes is the oldest manager in the prem !!
