What's your views fellow orgers? For me this must be the least anticipated word Cup ever,is it to do with dodgy Quatar or mid November? England start on Monday at 1 o'clock in the afternoon? Will you be rushing home early to watch it? I know I wont be!! Iran,USA & especially Wales potential banana skin in all of those, can't see England getting out of the group myself, are we even bothered anymore?its a bit like Westham these days the shine was lost a long time ago

Im not really into the England thing mate,i prefer club football,so am even more pissed off that it has disrupted our season,we wont get anywhere which makes it even more of a big yawn,we will be at work when its on anyway, really not bothered.

But at least in the summer it's quite a laugh watching it down the pub & when we do ok,i just look at southgates team & its the same old.Be honest mate I've only put the thread up cos there's not a lot else to talk about what with the hammers not playing for 5/6 weeks

Thats when it should be mate in the summer, which helps that through without the club stuff, but at least our season will go on a bit longer at the end.......Reckon some back handers went on to get that played out there.

Funny the goal Ecuador scored was disallowed by VAR and yet the ref not asked to take a look.Corruption already a perfectly good goal and now you see whats going to happen.Turned off already.CHEATS

I got in about 10 mins to go in the Ecuador game & I thought I recognised the goalscorer...Enner Valencia was with us a good few years ago & wasn't a bad player from what I remember! Didnt even know he was still playing

With the ridiculous timezone for Australia I'll be giving this one a miss. Can't be staying up all night every night to watch a lot of dross, I think the stadium's will be somewhat empty leading to cack atmosphere and the stench of corruption has reached a peak with this WC.

The timing down here is a big issue. The England game is 06.00, at which time I dont fancy a beer and watching England sober is VERY difficult :o)

Thought H G was the look out, you'll have to interrogate her mate ,how did he ( M D)get past her guard?.

So far! Too many overpaid pundits that are more interested in agendas than the football & as for Kane & his 600k rainbow rolex,do me a favour

I just got back from 6 days camping in the high country, drinking and no reception on the blower! Was great and no surprise to see England revert to type!

But England 2nd half showed their quality, albeit Wales were shocking....play Rashford, foden & Saka up top England have a chance

Of the mantra of when in Rome, I don't understand the furore of it all, in fact some of the rulings of that country I actually don't think is a bad thing. Obviously there are the other darker side of things which is why I haven't gone to Qatar personally to watch it. Football should mind its own business and concentrate on the game on hand. We all know its a corrupt affair with FIFA so lets just get on with watching the game. Which so far hasn't been all that tbh. Argentina to be the eventual winners I say.

Though at last it looks like the the attention is now on the football. Can England overcome the fear factor? Imo they have the best team in the competition & for once we have players like Bellingham, foden,Saka & Rashford that are young & hungry! France have the best player in the world imo, stifle mbappe & England go through

England have the talent and this could be the first "real" game of the competition. What I mean by that is that niether team will be comfortable with even a 2 goal lead. Im thinking of Wales, Australia etc They go one nil down after a strategy of just playing defensive and theres little in the tank to react and if they do will be totally exposed at the back.

I have to say... Im looking forward to the game on Sunday... which in our case is Monday :o)

Are that whatever I read, every time I hear things, the whole focus is on stopping Mbappe. How about concentrating on our game and letting the French worry about us. I might also add that I disagree that this England team is one of the best for many years. Far too many weak points, including a manager too afraid to go for it. Bit similar to one closer to home I say.

By the fear factor! We've had England teams in the past that could & should have beaten big nations but imo have lacked that belief! I'm hoping the same doesn't happen against France, got his faults southgate but to be fair he got that call spot on about starting Henderson & most people probably wouldn't have done the same

well 65 he started with Henderson and guess what...

I think he's Moyes in an England suit! Question whether he gets a new contract or prefers a nice little earner in the Prem. Got to be at Villa at some point given the revolving door at VP

The ref was atrocious, definitely a foul in the lead up to their first goal.Var helped us & hindered us,but without Var we wouldn't have got any decisions from him.I still believe it's the fear factor that hinders England teams
