If we had sacked Moyes i would not of been against us getting this man in as our manager although i am aware he is one of the latest Marmite men in football.....But now he is Evertons new manager i am pretty sure he will keep them up and most likely finish above us....did we miss a trick here?
Yes
we have but it is always the way
He probably
Would have been my choice out of everyone available but they will stick with moyes even if we lose the next 3 games! Cos as me old mum used to say " they don't know their arse from their elbow!"
Why would we want Dyche?
He's no different in style to Allardyce who you fans hounded out or Moyes, who is now facing the same criticism. Whats the point in hiring someone who is going to be no better? Shouldn't we be aspiring to a manager who has loftier ambitions or credentials than just keeping a team up? (And for the record, I don't think he'll save Everton)
Who would you have then Deluded?
Oh yeah benitez!!Seriously Dyche imo would have more chance than moyes at the moment of keeping us up,that's all I'm looking at.Long term - who is out there?
Thats the trouble mate who,i
Thats the trouble mate who,i would say a younger bloke with vision, but they will need money and a big backroom staff, someone like Tuchel,i know not many liked him,but thats the sort we need.
deluded
fat sam was and is crap
I agree with Deluded here on
I agree with Deluded here on all counts,Dyche is no better than Moyes,he may of steadied the ship a little, adjusted the team about, but in a few months it would of been like watching Moyes or Alladyce all over again. We do need a manager to take us further than that.........I also have the feeling he wont turn Everton around.
yes agree
with all the above and everton have the disadvantage of the fair play /money embargo to deal with .Also the other manager considered was the ex leeds guy and did you hear his demands before he even took control of the first team at everton bringing in 6 or so people to take control of the juniors and youth teams first ???
Why can we not get someone
Why can we not get someone like Roberto De Zerbi. Is he a flash in the pan at Brighton? Certainly one of the more entertaining teams in the Prem at the moment. Not someone English fans were overly familiar with. Surely there's someone out there similar who's not over the hill, not stuck in the past, not a one trick pony and not demanding millions upon millions (Sullivan would love someone like that)?
Manager who has impressed me
the most is Thomas Frank. Shame he has just been tied down to a new 5 year contract.
