So the rumour mill has started, players that are expected to leave if we get relegated.Rice is going anyway,Scam back to Italy obviously but the ones I have issue with - Pac will leave if we are relegated,to be expected but hardly ripped up trees 50 mill, will be lucky to get 30! Antonio to leave also, got some front imo.if youre part of the problem at least have the bollox to try & put it right!
Rice going?
Way to drop that bombshell 65 i mean why would he want to? but seriously you me and just about everyone else new this is the case but the board totally oblivious to this scenario and now i am sure they are clinging to the hope Everton will be found guilty and have points deducted......West Ham do your nut in
Exactly Mac
Who are we going to be left with? Areola maybe, coufal or Johnson? Aguerd off,Zouma ( I don't rate him anyway) Ogg prob stay,Cress stay...Downes I rate him & i reckon he will stay, fornals maybe,Bowen & Benny gone,Souscek ( not bothered either way)pac gone,Scam gone Rice gone,Emerson 50/50 Ings stay,Ants gone, Cornet stay lanzini gone,Mubama stay....so a big struggle in the chumps then!
yup
the game against the saints is massive 3points or we are down, and i doubt Everton will be deducted any points but it shouldn't enter in to equation any way , but dino will not change and play 2 up front so we are all doomed
i think its a whole new side 65
If, and I'm now truly expecting, we drop to the Chumps, you need good honest, hard working players that will get you promoted, you need another Chicken (Kevin Nolan) to lead from the front. Players like Downes and probably Bowen and by that time, Ings will also fit the bill. The foreign legion will all disappear, and I get that, they wont get international caps playing Chumps football but this will be a great opportunity for our so called golden generation coming through the ranks, Im thinking specifically of the likes of Mubama. Who knows... drop to the Chumps might be what we need but, as previously said... will be VERY difficult to return :o(
I'd love it
If Bowen stayed Dartford but do we really think he would go down to the chumps?I know his father in law would probably kidnap him lol but realistically he would still have plenty of interest from other prem clubs.
LOl... I think we would all kidnap him 65!!!
His form has drpped, no England call ups, no media interest in a move to the bindippers etc etc. I think he would probably stay, decent contract, maybe in a comfort zone? Still has lots to offer, needs a bit of confidence. When you drop you often get one or two that stay the course.. Billy Bonds, Trevor Brooking, Michael Carrick etc
I've heard everyone
Stating that Dec is going at the end of the season except Dec himself.

Spot on Burkie
I'll believe it when I see it
I admire your optimism guys
But surely this talk about Arsenal,Chelsea, manure etc wanting him must have some legs?An England regular that would improve any team,if he stays ill take it all back about there being no loyalty these days!!
I do agree mate, and it would
I do agree mate, and it would be a serious case of loyalty if he does stay,he certainly deserves more than what he gets from us.
Man Utd and Chelsea
Are regularly in the papers sniffing around anything with two legs, two veg and a bit of meat that can kick a ball. Arsenal is a strange one but I actually can't see Rice walking into that Arsenal side right now. If it's trophies he's after as opposed to regular football then Real Madrid or City would be the place to go, but again, no guarantee of regular football and it's a hollow feeling collecting a winners medal purely because you contributed to a few games, I should know. I played for my works team which won the cup. I played in every game and even scored the winner in the semi. The captain dropped half the regular team for the final, picking mates of his who played under mine and others names on the programme sheet. I got a winners medal but I never look at it feeling like a winner.
Antonio
Hi 65 you say that Antonio is part of the problem. I disagree. He is continually played out of position, that is hardly his fault. If he were played out wide or as part of a two up front I believe he could be part of the solution.
He wanted the No.9 shirt and
He wanted the No.9 shirt and has played up front for 3 years. It's his position. The fact he can't fulfil it to the desired result is not only Moyes but his too
Spot on buddy!
Made a big fuss over that number 9 shirt!!
PS.. plan going to Perth for the friendly in July?
It would be tempting but I'm
It would be tempting but I'm actually in Spain catching up with family for 1st time in 7years. Flights are probably cheaper to Spain than they would be to Perth too!! I've been wanting to get across to the west for some time and it's a bucket list item, but when you're looking at 6k and change for a flight it's often cheaper to go international.
How was the Great Ocean Road in the end?
sorry to hear that you will
sorry to hear that you will be out of the country, I think I will go to Perth as it coincides with my Birthday... nice way to celebrate.
Didnt make the Ocean Road (yet) we got as Batemans Bay and my wife was unwell so we had to turn back. Long story short but it looks like she as Kidney Stones back again :o(
Ah that's not good. Hope she
Ah that's not good. Hope she can get some treatment here that won't cost an arm and a leg
I totally agree Jozi
He's never been played in his right position!! That's not his fault but to all of a sudden want to move on ( he wanted out in January btw) to me leaves a bit of a sour taste when he's hardly been player of the year for us!!Maybe I'm living in the dark ages when loyalty meant something
Dont forget you guys ,he
Dont forget you guys ,he totally looked for the number 9 shirt , but that was then, when we ( and he) thought we had solved all our goal scoring worries.
Look facts are facts ,this team has lost whatever confidence it had in dino,to use that old football saying he's lost the dressing room .
If we drop down
I think we will lose sixty ,per cent of our first team players, if Moyes stays for next season eighty per cent. Players leaving.
Areola, Scamacca, Aguerd, Zouma, Paqueta, Soucek, Coufal, Kehrer, Cornet, Rice, Emerson, Benrahma, Bowan, Lanzini, Johnson( won’t sign a new contract.). Can’t blame them but we started the season with a lot of international players and Moyes has successfully destroyed some of their chances of getting international first team starts.
