Hammers start the 2023/4 domestic season with an away fixture against Bournemouth followed by the club's first home fixture of the new season against Chelsea. In recent seasons West Ham have had incredibly 'challenging' fixtures for their first five games, so this season's fixture list comes as something of a relief.

Of course the club still has to play all the big hitters sometime, but at least there is a chance of getting a few points on the board early doors ahead of the more difficult fixtures. Other dates of note are the games against Tottingham which are (a) on December the 5th and (h) on April the 2nd.

Here is a full list of this season's fixtures which ARE subject to change given the club's involvement in European competition.

I expect nothing less than ten points from the first five games. Bournemouth Chelsea and Luton are very beatable but as I have said too many times to recall, he have to go out with the attitude “ we can win this one” none of this respect the point nonsense. The quality or otherwise of the comings and goings of the summer will be key. I am resigned to loosing Declan so let’s spend the money wisely. COYI.

Can't believe they've sacked Gary o Neill!! What did he do wrong apart from getting thumped by us! Seriously though these owners are getting brutal

I also thought he did a good job, plus they were entertaining to watch. He is one of our own, knows the club and is young. Could he be the one to take us forward? Or am I getting ahead of myself?
