Any Old Iron-Ings?

Hammers very own 'Hairline Frankenstein' Danny Ings wants to "stay and fight for his place" at West Ham, well he must be the only one! Because the general concencus is that he is entirely unsuited to David Moyes's style of play and would have been far better off linking up with Sean Dyche at Everton, the two enjoyed a 'fruitful' partnership while they were both at Burnley.

There is definitely a good player somewhere in Ings, but that good player will NEVER flourish under Moyes which does rather beg the question as to why the forward was signed in the first place and by whom?

Hammers desperately need an additional striker, even more so since the sale of Gianluca Scamacca but Ings IS a stalling block. Unless Ings is 'bounced' Hammers will be stuck with him and with very little prospect of off loading him without subsidising the move considerably, he could become Hammers own Maguire!

Everton have now apparently shifted their focus on to another Hammers player Maxwell Cornet, he has also worked with Sean Dyche and would represent far better value, but David Moyes would like to keep Cornet and get rid off Ings.

Neither player has had any success at West Ham for various reasons, but given the option fans would rather have Cornet on the bench rather than 'Uncle Ingy'. - Ed
