Great interview when DiCanio managed to get a word in, pretty much all general knowledge but the fascism bit was new for me. Definitely an all time great for West Ham and pleased to say I see him live many games.
Would be intriguing to see him as a West Ham manager because he does actually speak more sense than I gave him credit for.
But he would be portrayed as a loose canon by the media and the constant circus that would follow him would be ridiculous.....loved hearing about his time at Swindon and Sunderland as manager but again not given a chance...booted soon as it went pear shaped.....
Theirs nobody out there? really we all know that many managers would be breaking down the door for a chance so why not this man? even if he failed the board would of taken pressure off themselves with this club legend and given themselves time to look for a new man.
What did you see from him at Sunderland to make you think he's any good? I get the love, but managing a big club needs more than just passion. Managers these days have to balance kissing player egos with getting them to follow the tactics board. Di canio? Gone in a month
