I have no problem with steinden and lopi going south american as long as they don't turn out with the same situation we have with Paqueta.I know nothing is proven as yet but it does hold a big dark cloud over the club it's like having the sword of damocles hanging over your head not knowing which way it will fall.If convicted the club suffers financially yet again another wasted 50 million into the ether if cleared great we keep him for a bit longer and he would have something to prove and become even better.Let's face it we haven't been lucky with south americans in the past Tevez etc and got severely punished through that fiasco.I just have a feeling he is going to get convicted i hope i'm wrong but the FA seem to dislike West Ham and somehow i can see Man city getting away scot free which would be an injustice?

Just been listening to Tim Vickery. He who knows all things South American football. Must say. This signing seems like a massive punt. The kid has barely played. Is potential what we need at the moment? Especially when we are on a budget. Seems that this deal smacks desperation in the face that Tim was not coming back empty handed.

If we did not sign this lad and thought no keep Cornet people will be saying we lack ambition same old West Ham and so on.
