So, in the car for a good while today, took the Mrs to lunch in Watsons Bay.. very nice, had the fish, practically jumps out the sea onto the plate. Lots of tunes on the radio were turned up but this one got me and Dartford Ghirl both crying and singing full on as it reminds us of our handsome grandson Arthur who we are missing desperately who loves this track.. picture the scene, windows down,24 degrees, sun glistening on Botnay Bay, West Ham sticker on the back window.... Enjoy!!!

Ha Ha love it. Now then Sportsfans. Growing up the 70's from 1976 aged 14. My head exploded with the sound of punk. Such a raw energy that spoke to me and shaped my life. Music for my generation along with going to Upton Park on a Saturday. No wonder I turned out like an absolute loon!!

So when I heard this on TOTP I just could not get it out of my head. So much that when at school all my crew ripped the piss out of this blokes voice. We were all going around saying borrrrrrrrrn. Secretly I loved it and still do to this day.

Just don't tell nobody...!!

As a teenager in the 70's I was never a fan of disco, funk or dare I say ABBA, this summer took my better half to ABBA Voyage and seriously thoroughly enjoyed it and would love to go back, if Abba come on the radio I am more inclined to turn the volume up a notch rather than off!
