Has anything changed?

Still leaking goals players played out of position and do we have a gameplan? Jlo had been studying us a lot last season and saw the areas that we needed to improve and was confident about doing that.

So if he really had been doing that why are we such a mess? we have beaten Palace and Ipswich this season and they are in the bottom three.....still always looking to pass back more than forward where is the improvement? again i say if this man and his coaches had been watching us why is nothing different?.

Team line ups already coming up short no balance no real emphasis on how we are going to play it seems to be we are praying the players might do something instead of a manager seeing his mistakes learning from them and trying something else.

For me Pacman has to be benched he is nowhere at the level required and his heads not in the game.....Summerville needs to start and yes Areola needs to come out and Fab in but i think we need now to be looking for a new GK as well but that will be next summer.

Injuries is the only thing that Jlo has no control over but for a man who likes to flash the credentials or rather his pals do i have to say i am not impressed and again you have to ask what has changed?

Have to agree 100% with all of that. We have no identity. No definition of style. Chronic defending and a haphazard goalkeeper. All of which rears it head every single game we play.

We are shipping too many goals. Even Kudus has lost the plot now. Purely out of frustration with the tactics it would seem. Subs x 3 waiting to come on in the 53rd minute and shipping more goals in the process. It's carnage El Twatas is a rebel without a clue. Kudus is now banned for 3 straight games. I think Paella Pedro will be gone before Kudus returns.

Not acceptable...

As you point out mcbikeman it is not as of the manager walked through the door this summer not knowing what was going on at the club. As he has mentioned he had been watching and observing the team for a good long while and whilst any new manager has to be given a degree of patience by the fanbase i am afraid that already you can see the team and the players we have are well just lost out there.

They again just do not seem to be knitting together as a group and that is worrying and i would love for the manager to explain just exactly what are we doing in training to prepare for matches as yesterdays shameful collapse at of all places Tottenham is unacceptable at any time.

He played the same side that started against Ipswich and seemed to think playing the same way would get a similar result! well it did in the scoreline but lets be honest that could of been 5/6/7 instead of just the four and worryingly enough a few weeks before we did the same against Chelsea and again in the cup at Liverpool.

These are very very worrying times at our club and looking at our next string of fixtures you do start to fear it will be a relegation dogfight we are going to be in instead of fighting for a European place.

That's the style of play we have! if you watch other teams around the league they all seem to have a pattern of play that works for them even those at the bottom you can see what they are trying to do and achieve but when you watch us it is not surprising that none of us have an earthly clue at what we are trying to do as a team and as the manager clearly does not either how can we expect to improve.

Its a very good point about Pattern of play. Hell, even Moyes had a reasonably successful pattern of play! We have no structure, little shape and clearly the players haven't a clue what J Lo wants from them. He admitted there is a communication problem which I was genuinely surprised to hear given the high number of Spanish speakers in the team. I just guess the others cant decipher his English... I sure as hell cant!

Some people giving Loppy props for making three changes at Ht and he is said to of planned Summerville coming on in second half as his fresh legs will be a problem for the manure defence......if they had taken any of the four five clear cut chances in first half what then?.. Sorry but if that was his thinking it is a big worry going ahead.
I would ask any fan on here or elsewhere to explain to me our tactics because i just do not understand what he is trying and clearly the majority of the players are of the same mind..... Football is a simple game but so many seem to overcomplicate things.....

That I think the early ( undeserved) first half yellows may have more to do with the substitutions than anything else.
But hey. How about THAT penalty. I'll be honest, if that had gone the other way I'd be spitting feathers.

never a pen ... worst decision I have ever seen on VAR and there's been some stinkers!

it got their manager the boot and just prolongs the time of The Paella Muncher

Has taken the game to the literal letter of the law, and under the rules of the game it was a penalty. What VAR is disregarding (similar to speed cameras on motorways or traffic lightjumping cameras etc.) is circumstances leading up to the situation. Referees now no longer have discretion to use common sense. Me, personally, I wouldn't call it a penalty because the way Ings hurtled in, contact was inevitable, And THAT seems to be the buzz word nowadays. "Contact".
