Thanks hammergirl, native, born in Bogor and never lived anywhere else. Why West Ham is the 2006 cup final. I was a teenager, it was on at night here, and Liverpool were supposed to walk it, then we were 2-0 up and I was hooked before Gerrard ruined it.
Dartford Bhoy asked in the other thread about a supporters club. Not really, a few of us in a group chat in Jakarta and Bogor, maybe ten people who are awake for the 3am games. Most weekends I watch our local club too, Garudayaksa, they play at Pakansari ten minutes from my house and I check https://garudayaksa-fc.id/ for when they kick off so I don't double-book a night with West Ham.
Still claret and blue first though. Nobody here understands why I'm happy with a 1-1 at home to Brentford.
