They don't come much bigger than Jorge Mendes' Gestifute agency for footballers, based in Portugal they are the go to Agency for BIG players. Their client list is like a who's who of 'name' footballers including, Rúben Dias Bernardo Silva, Fabinho, João Cancelo, Diogo Jota, Ederson, Rúben Neves, André Silva, Cristiano Ronaldo, Pedro Neto and Renato Sanches among others!

Gestifute also represents Wolves winger Adama Traore, who has definitely featured on Hammers manager David Moyes' transfer wish list, initially Wolves were demanding £50 Million which was way too rich for Hammers at the time. However with fresh funding available Moyes had returned to 'make enquiries', but his interest seemed to diminish when Tottingham began to start sniffing around, as is their way when Hammers are looking at a player.

That seemed to be the end of the story, because normally Tottingham supremo Daniel Levy has ALWAYS managed to screw things up for West Ham, one way or another when it comes to transfers. But in this instance the tables might just have TURNED, Jorge Mendes is probably the one agent in the World you don't want to, using a Moyes expression, piss off!

Apparently Mendes is none too pleased with the way that Levy has tried to 'manipulate' one of his clients WITHOUT his say so, not clever bearing in mind how important Mendes is in the market, not only directly but also the 'sub influence' the Gestifute agency has around the World.

Traore is available for around £25 Million during THIS transfer window, David Moyes has the option to 'out Levy' Daniel Levy by putting in an equal offer to that of Tottingham's, safe in the knowledge that he actually HAS THE MONEY, whereas Tottingham don't, in the short term.

Not only has Levy annoyed Mendes, but he has 'pissed off' his new manager Conte, lured to the Lane with promises of a bumper £150 Million to spend in this window. Levy may well pull a fiscal rabbit out of the hat somehow, but his plans have essentially been scuppered because they were so heavily reliant on the sale of Harry Kane to Man City for £200 Million.

Traore is definitely NOT a striker YET, but Moyes has a track record of converting wingers into strikers and there is no reason he cannot do the same with Traore, a player who has all the natural attributes required but currently lacks the final product in front of goal.

The only real fly in the ointment is Wolves' European aspirations, with the club well set for a Europa League slot, possibly at the expense of the Irons, so why would they want to sell to a direct competitor? Looking at the table there is little difference to Wolves if they sell to West Ham or Tottingham, but sell they must because their Chinese owners are UNABLE to fund any bale outs due to a change in the law that effects ALL foreign investments made by Chinese companies.

£25 Million is a lot of money, but compared to some of the dross mentioned by the media available for 'bargain' £13-15 Million fees, Traore is a bargain. He and Antonio would give defenders recurring nightmares at the prospect of facing them, he could be the missing link that is the bridge leading to the £50 Million purchase of the future. Traore plays on the right wing. If that is the case then where would you move Bowen? Since Bowen is left footed I guess that would mean pushing his to the left wing. In that case West Ham would trouble any defences in the Premier Division.
